My parent device has been “connecting to server” for 5 minutes of my 1 hour free trial. Maybe you should fix that if you want people to pay for the app...
Paid for full version and video doesn’t work

This is a pricey app, but I paid for the full version because the 1 hour trial seemed to go well. Since I paid for the full version, the video doesn’t work about 90% of the time, it’s freezes while audio continues to work. We have the highest speed internet since my husband works from home, and the video part of this app is still shoddy. I should have saved my money and gotten an audio monitor. That’s basically all this is.

This is a great app to use as an alternative to a traditional baby monitor. I love the subscription service of being able to pair it with my cell service as needed. Super easy & straightforward to use!

Does NOT Work Consistently

I bought this app three years ago and it worked a handful of times. After the first year, using the same devices, I would set it up at home and as soon as we left I could never get a connection. That’s the whole point! I was relying on this for peace of mind when people were caring for my kids and it kept failing. I emailed with the company over 15 times. They kept explaining they’re having glitches and to delete, reload… I did this what feels like 100 times and nothing changed! I asked for my money back as they knew it was never working for me consistently and they ghosted on me! I tried repeatedly and they refused to respond to any of my emails. This company does not have integrity and I would not use this app!
Didn’t work with hotel Wi-Fi

Got this for an upcoming trip where we would be in separate rooms from our baby. Paid the few bucks, worked fine at home on Wi-Fi. When we got to the hotel it didn’t connect. App said it’s not connecting over Wi-Fi, pay a few more bucks for cloud access. Thinking it was because of the way hotel Wi-Fi is set up (might be different networks despite the same SSID) I went ahead and bought cloud access. But that didn’t work either, despite the connection tests passing. The diagnostics showed some weird results over Wi-Fi and LTE. Internet connection was otherwise fine. Tried force closing, deleting and reinstalling, logging out, restarting devices etc with no luck. An email to support got a canned FAQ response that wasn’t helpful. Since we needed something I went ahead and downloaded another Cloud Baby Monitor which is much less featured but worked on its first try for $4, no subscription. My guess is that the hosted cloud access provides a nice reason for charging a subscription but adds a layer of complication which doesn’t play well with hotel Wi-Fi. A few dollars down the drain, but I guess I have another option in case my regular baby monitor at home stops working.

Every time me and my wife use this app it crashes. If we want to monitor our child with video it only work for about 2min then crashes the app. Every other night the iPad in my child’s room crashes in the middle of the night. It lucky for us our child’s room is close enough to where we can hear if she is crying without the app. The fact we can only use it for WiFi also caused us to stop using this app. We don’t want to have to pay twice for this app. With all the crashes on both the parent and child devices we decided to look for a better option. **NEW UPDATE** Horrible I am going to contact the App Store to get my money back. This app was totally redesigned and no longer does what I purchased it to do. This is is pointless now and the feels like a paid version of FaceTime.
