I got tired of having to search for the remote, as I have three boys and no one ever puts it back! I decided to download the app and I think it works brilliantly!

It used to work perfectly and I loved it. I would use it when I couldn’t find the remote. Now the remote has completely gone out and I had to download the app again, however, the app barely and I mean barely connects. I dont know if there has been a recent update to the system but this remote doesn’t work the same.

Can't detect my fire stick and the button to sign into my Amazon account doesn't even work.
Cord cutting

A must for cutting cord with cable co. In last 18 months my rate has gone from 145 to 171.00 in new year. I'm out. Cutting cord tomorrow.
Hardly works

It’s great when it works but usually I have to turn my phone off and the fire tv box off to get it to work and more than half the time even when I do that it still doesn’t connect.

Wow, you'd think Amazon could make a better app for this. It takes FOREVER to connect & makes you reconnect every time your phone goes into sleep mode. It's like they purposely made this a bad app so you have to buy a new remote. Absolutely horrible!!!
