The new version has some bugs. The old Version actually worked pretty well. Since the new update for both the fire stick remote and the iOS version 11.2 the app does not open or crashes as soon as you open it. I hope the bugs are fixed soon.

Last couple weeks the app has had trouble connecting to my firestick and usually takes about 4-5 tries. It’s annoying but convenient since I lost that dumb little controller. I hope they update this app
Very temperamental

I’m the only on using this app on my phone yet the stupid app forgets how to login. Then when I have manually login it can’t connect. It was working now all of sudden it doesn’t. Sad.
Only works when the app is open

I had been using this app for over a year and loved it. I run this on an iOS device (iPhone 6s). I upgraded to the new software recently and now I am only able to watch tv while my phone is open. As soon as my phone goes to sleep it pauses the show I’m watching. Bummer. :( I hope this gets fixed and I can give this app the 5 stars it deserves.

I thought the remote was garbage... then I downloaded the app. Can’t wait until my AppleTV gets here then I can see how aerodynamic this device is off my balcony.

Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. Honestly wish I didn’t even buy a fire stick. I used the remote all of 2 times before it stopped working. So this app is the only way I can use my fire stick.
Useful as a Plan B

When it connects it works pretty good, but is far too sensitive. If you could change the sensitivity like you can the cursor speed with a mouse on a computer then it would be great. I definitely prefer the Amazon remote but this is a good option if you can’t find the remote or it has quit working.

My favorite part about this app is when I lose the remote (honestly, the remote is the easiest thing for me to lose for some reason) so I HAVE to depend on the app so I can hit the “continue watching” button However, I’m always stuck on the endless loop of attempting to connect to my fire tv stick. I unplug it from the socket, turn my phone on and off, clear the cache and it will not connect. So I’m stuck until I either find the remote, or keep pressing “try again”and it actually connects.
