Awful App for $1000 machine

daviddj1

Have to download repeatedly. Freezes. Will not connect to blue tooth. Unfortunately that is our only option. ResMed needs to invest in an app worthy of the machine.

App not loading

My iPhone XR IS NOW HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THIS APP. Please fix...

Air Mini app doesn’t work well

innnyh

Giving it one star because I can’t give it zero. When connected, the app works...good luck staying connected though...mine consistently disconnects, then refuses to reconnect. Even when the unit number shows up on the connection window, the connection fails to occur, instead routing me back to the previous screen. I have many Bluetooth items that work EVERY time, without fail or drama. This one is virtually useless.

Love the Mini-The app is not so good

I specifically bought the Resmed mini for travel as I traveled a lot. Now I find that even though I use it, the information isn’t combined in my Resmed account and, as such, doesn’t count towards use for insurance purposes! To add insult to injury, the app quit recognizing my machine and I can’t get to a screen that lets me manually add the machine. The machine itself is better than the AirSense 10. The outflow air on the mini is about 4 inches from my face, so I don’t have air blowing in my eyes all night.

Does not work

ferrarinyc

It shows the Accessory list blank but I can pair the device thru the iPhone Settings - Bluetooth screen. However that’s useless as the app does not recognize it. It is an horrible app for an expensive device.

Resmed just doesn’t care

The AirMini hardware is very nice. But this app has serious problems. First, it assumes that you never sleep past 11:30am in the time zone in which you live. So, if you sleep in or, worse, travel to a new time zone, your sleep gets split into the day before and the day after. And, of course, no one is going to travel with a device designed specifically for travel (sorry if my sarcasm doesn’t get through here...). Oh no. This could so easily be fixed, but Resmed refuses to fix this obvious problem. Second, if you also one of own Resmed’s home CPAP machines and register them both with Resmed, you’d reasonably expect Resmed to combine the data of both together for insurance purposes. (Insurance won’t pay for a new home one when it breaks if you’ve used it for less than 70% of the time.) Resmed doesn’t even report this data to my doctor! So any nights you spend traveling don’t count for insurance purposes. This could be quite dangerous if one travels a lot but can’t afford to buy one’s own device because Resmed stupidly refused to include the sleep data during travel in their insurance report. Again, this is an easy fix, but Resmed isn’t doing anything about it. I’ve notified Resmed of both problems multiple times over a period of more than a year, but they refuse to fix these obvious and easily fixed problems. Indeed, Resmed’s tech support is spectacularly bad. It is physically impossible to get hold of a human, email yields no response at all. You should consider another company’s devices and apps. Other companies have solved these simple problems. Edit: Thanks to the Resmed rep for the reply, which simply confirmed my criticisms, which, by the way, can’t be overcome by anyone but Resmed (believe me; I tried!). The fixes required are easy. If Resmed spent the time fixing these issues instead of responding to criticisms, their product could improve, rather than remaining badly flawed. At least they’re reading the criticisms. It’s a start...

App doesn’t work on New iOS

Can not get any phone to connect to app with iOS 13. Please fix. EDIT: I was able to get a connection after power cycling the airmini device.

Works PERFECTLY

Dbrocc

Not sure why some of the other reviewers had difficulty with this app, but since I started, it has worked perfectly and does all that it is supposed to do. The Bluetooth connection was easily done and it has stayed connected. I’ve only used the machine (AirMini) - love it - for 5 nights and I’m leaving the country tomorrow for two weeks. I’ll do an update when I return

Please Link Data from AirMini to MyAir

Jameslouisg

I’m new to AirMini - so far so good. I sleep in hotel three nights per week and until recently I had to check a bag because of size if Airsense. Now that I use both I would like to see the data from both on one interface. Whether it be a third App or within existing Apps. With clouds technology I don’t see how this can’t be torn. I’ll even house data on my personal cloud. Does my provider get one compliance report?

Oils be better

I wish ResMed would allow data from the AirMini to be merged with data from MyAir. I have an AirMini that I travel with 40-50 nights a year and have an AirSense 10 that I use at home. I use one or the other every night, so my report should be able to show that I use my CPAP therapy 100%. However, when my doctor gets a report it only shows data from my home machine that shows i am only about 80% compliant. It seems like this could be an easy fix to allow data to flow from my AirMini through my iPhone to the MyAir cloud and be included with the data on my home machine. If I am using my CPAP therapy 100% of the time, I want my report to reflect that regardless of which machine I use.
