Stand on your head to read

March 25, 2018 and I’ve installed the very latest version and, like others, it shows upside down and pays no attention to how I orient my iPad. Is it really worth the bother, I ask myself? AARP is telling me that just because I’m older, I can still be in control. What they didn’t say is that the in-control doesn’t apply to their applications.

AARP for iPad

Hired med manager

I just downloaded it & it is still upside down! Surely, this can be fixed? I’m on 11.3

deleted it right away

won't orient to device's orientation and the UX is from 1997.... clearly they threw something together JUST to say they have an app

Have to rotate my iPad to view the screen.

Robair52

To use this app, I have to rotate my iPad to view the screen. This is the only app that I use where I have to do this. Very frustrating. Because of this, I don't use this app any more.

Fix the orientation issue, please!

NearlySun

Don’t bother installing this on an iPad. As other reviewers have reported, on an iPad, it displays upside-down, in horizontal view only and does not rotate. Since it’s labeled as iPhone AND iPad compatible, that rotation issue is a very annoying flaw. The app, however, displays properly on the iPhone and the content is useful.

Screen orientation failure

App is Garbage. I’ll deleting it from my iPad . They clearly don’t care about the app. Displays upside down. Password page is jumpy. Worst of my many apps to get logged into, and it’s freaking upside down to boot. You can fix this.

OK, but....

Sakki's paw

The developers of this app have STILL not fixed the orientation problem!!! What’s going on? The app is cool except for this issue. Fix this and you have at least 3 more stars.

No Problems

Tn Lady

I read all the reviews and was sad to read so many are having problems with this app. However, I just downloaded it and everything is working fine but, the discounts could be better if more merchants would offer deals for the members.

Logic problems. Need to Consider Customer Experience

KyCapper

I had high hopes for the app but it appears the developers didn’t think as a user would as much as they should have. There should be another sort option in addition to Nearby, Online & Limited Time and there also be an ALL option that is still controlled by the Categories function. In addition there is a logic function error either in determining what is “local” or what is “online” because Outback appears under local but Bonefish (which is also local) only appears under “online.” At least if there was an “all” option in the sort tab a user could see all restaurants.

App makes no sense

Should be a mobile version of the full website. You cannot get to features that you can on the full website such as entering a promo code or trying to make a bid on an auction. Where are those features? This misses the mark by a mile I have no use for this.
