Too many big images, not enough info

SeriouslyDave

This app appears to copying the apple web style of giant stock photos with very little text, making it hard to find useful information. I prefer the full Aarp PC site, which I can get to easily through a browser. For example, I can click on Member Benefits and see a relatively compact list with no cluttering images and no location required until I’m ready to provide it. Granted, the web site doesn’t always work perfectly on mobile, but I find it a superior interface for information. (And, naturally, web browsers orient correctly on iPads.)

Can’t login ?

Can't quit playing

Just re-downloaded the app after having deleted over a year. I’m asking myself why because the login feature is flawed. I’ve changed my password. The login works fine in the AARP NOW app. What is the problem. Isn’t this basic???

They broke something

LaH-13

With this latest version I constantly get that the app has encountered an error when I go to look at an offer. Think it might have something to do with the pics tried to download, but that is a guess.

Bad Updates

Hdwideglide

App was updated yesterday and didn’t work, so you update the app today and it still doesn’t work. What’s up with that???! Also places that AARP tell us that honor their discounts are to lazy to type our member numbers. They say they have to scan them. Maybe you guys will read this review since you didn’t read my last review, add the back side view of the so called membership card in the app so they have something to scan. PS, It would also be a nice feature to add the AARP card to the Apple wallet.

Ca d shows but

Card shows? But no bar code to get discount.

Thank God - orientation issue on iPad finally fixed!

nprfan1

AARP upgraded their app today and along with everything else they have FINALLY fixed the orientation issue with iPads. Giving it three stars for the time being until I explore the app and see if there are any other problems. Update - developer responded that they had to revert back to the old version, so the problem of the orientation issue has returned. I have removed the app from my iGadgets and will not restore it until the issue has been fixed. Update - developer has reapplied the update and so far no issues to report.

Cannot signup

ManiacalMatt

The signup button is off the screen and cannot be scrolled to. Lazy programming and not updated for newer iOS devices.

You’ve got to be kidding!

Installed upside down. I checked my screen lock setting (off), uninstalled app, reinstalled, no improvement. Tried again two mores times after rebooting iPad. Still upside down. So I deleted the app.

App orientation not rotating

ToriKli

Can’t change the orientation of the app viewing on my iPad. I have to hold it upside down to use the app and I don’t have to do that for any of the other fifty apps I have. Please advise or fix the frustrations many are reporting about this. Thank you

No problems

I don’t have an iPad, just an iPhone. I’ve had no problems at all. It opens quickly & runs smoothly. I love having the card right in the app. One tap & it opens right up with the barcode.
