I came close to losing my disabled son's Medicaid benefits when I failed to renew by the deadline. His dad was in a car accident and was hospitalized and I was distracted. His dad died in late March and I did not renew on time and my submission was not received until late April. His provider services were nearly suspended but Medicaid was renewed a few days before the deadline. I was told I would need to reapply again in August. Despite being told by a real person that my son is in good standing, the mobile app, the web site and the voice mail on 211 are all saying he has been denied and to top it off, I received another letter from HHS that they need 4 more months of bank statements AND from SSA that his Medicare B coverage has been denied and he owes backpay! Also his SSI is to be docked $135.00 going forward so lesson learned the hard way.

This app doesn’t appear to be useful if no one is gonna check the forms that are being down loaded and submitted.

It’s helpful to just take photos of documents. More stable than the website which has had consistent server issues. The app crashed once but hey, it is what it is.

Annoying. This app goes through many updates. Seems like the site and app is down every weekend, yet you still can’t do everything on the app. When renewals and other such things can be completed from the app it will be worth shutting down every weekend. Other than that, it’s annoying to shut the app down every weekend with no real useful updates.

Your Texas Benefits has some Public Information data errors that have a blocking error and it doesn’t seem to have some data on me that fits my background information, such as Street addresses from my past. I hope you can make the repairs to the update and include the Ohio and the past Texas databases properly.
