I despise when a product Ive purchased forces updates or upgrades. Especially when I cant use it without the forced upgrade.

I love everything about it. It is easy to open and install. The price is not super expensive. I am able to do everything I need to do. I am very pleased with the product.

Constant ads for cloud service instead of just going right to the camera’s feed. Guess that’s we’re the revenue comes from to pay their developer :(

I love these cameras BUT the recent update has my app crashing. I can’t even get on it from my iPhone 11 Pro it just brings the first loading screen and quits. Halp!!!

Considering I paid for my cameras, I should Have a ad free accompanying app. Not so with This one. The worst kind of ads are in your face scrolling ads. That’s all right here. The app tries to acquire the cameras multiple times when going back to home screen. Poor sound quality from the dome camera. Can not make out what folks are saying. Poorly implemented app. Cameras are not to bad, but the poor implementation of the app is clearly a deal breaker. User must use this app, as no other will work. So if you buy Yi cameras, take that into consideration. Best bet would be to purchase competitive cameras that haves solid app, not this one.

I absolutely love my cameras. I use them as baby monitors around the house. However, I have two small children who nap at different times. It would really be a great improvement to add a split screen feature.

I have six Y! cameras of various vintage and resolution. They all work together on the apps on my iPhone and Android tablets and have been completely reliable for more than two years of continuous operation. I use them for home security and monitoring especially when traveling. They each have internal SIM cards, activated only when motion is detected and five also have 7 day cloud backup. Three (not outdoor models), one 1080p and two 720p, run outdoors although under cover. There are days when they have been stressed by high or low temperature with no failures. However, I don’t recommend this in critical situations, of course. This is a very inexpensive monitoring solution with remarkably good quality. Motion detection is good although the outdoor cameras pick up a lot on fauna, sometimes amusing. They reliably detect human created motion and it is easy to sort out the important recordings. Overall a great product!

Do NOT fall for this scam. The offered cloud service is an opportunity for them to steal from you. I subscribed to a one year subscription. They withdrew the total annual amount from my account without my permission in 3 consecutive months. Multiple exchanges with their “customer service” have failed to yield a refund, and they are obviously executing tactics to stall. If their customer support and financial management are this poor, I can only imagine how poorly they handle data and security. Stay away from this company.

Too many major bugs only on Iphone X to 11 pro

Problems started from 2019 mid to nowsaday. 1. Cannot properly views recorded video from sd cards. (If i choose night 7pm recorded, everytimes it forced me play start of the day.) 2, Live and recorded videos always sound echo, This problem experience make me write this review. Both problem happens on my family members iphs. They all experiences now the the problem like me. (Iphx iphxsmax iph11pro) Watch on My samsung Android phone is fine. Yi Cam on windows everything fine. Only happen on ios Please fix it asap or i trashed the yi cam.
