Latest update ruined the game

Since the latest update, the game is slow to load (up to one full minute), there’s too much ‘fluff’ on the page and it doesn’t update my opponent’s moves in a timely fashion. It also freezes after several of the ads and uses up battery like crazy because of all the activity on the page. I find it offensive that during Solo Challenge, many words that have no meaning are used but are labeled ‘this is a valid WWF word but no definition at this time’. Some obscure foreign words are accepted but other more common foreign words are not. Why??
Please stop adding stuff to this app

I love playing this with a few friends. But I'm getting really annoyed with all the bells and whistles you keep adding on for claiming points and achieving random goals and I'll give you a million bucks to give me back a plain scrabble board and be done with it.
Bring back average word standings

What happened to Average Word Score Standings ??? That was the only stat that means anything. The points only show how much you play, not how well you play. Big thumbs down for removing that.

It feels like every update makes the game a little worse. I just noticed that the average points per play stat is no longer there under “standings.” That was a feature I liked and I really hope you bring it back.

I absolutely love this game and even consider myself a little bit addicted to it. That being said, there are so many words in the “Words with Friends Dictionary” that are not actual words. They are often made up, are slang but still aren’t even in a dictionary, and now they’re allowing abbreviations or proper nouns to be added by themselves, yet if I try and play the same word it says invalid. It’s getting pretty bad about that.

I went thru serious withdrawal when my game froze completely. Lol I play 24/7 even when I was in hospital for 14 days. If you have problem click your profile picture go to technical assistance tell them your problem they answer pretty quick! I love this game met the best friends on here!
Change to leaderboard - Bring back average points per turn

I’ve been playing for years and suffering through the many “improvements” you’ve made with all sorts of animations and what not that don’t enhance the game for me but do slow down the app on my aging iPad. This is the first time you’ve made a change that riled me enough to comment. Please bring back the average points per move for the leaderboard. I’m not interested in seeing how well I’m doing compared to a random set of people I don’t know, but I do want to know how well I’m playing compared to the people I play with! Total points is more of a measure of how MUCH one plays while average per turn is a better measure of how WELL one plays. Less animation would be good, too. By the way, I’m never going to pay for power ups or fancy tiles ...
