Neat, but crashes

Serena Yonaka

Very cool idea for an app, but when I try to change settings or share my walks on social media, it crashes. Hope it gets an update to fix that soon; I really like the concept of this app.

App in annoying....

Please make a way we can make a one time payment to support you guys and remove the ads! Love the cause for the app but the ads are all over!

App open and on but not calculating...fail

Rescues sled dogs

This has been going on for over a week. Every time I start this app, it just doesn't calculate. I can walk miles and when I go to stop the app, it says 0 miles when my other apps clearly say I've logged miles. I'm hoping a new update will fix this glitch. This app does great things when it works.

App has stopped calculating distance

Annie Kate is 4

Within the last 2 weeks the app has stopped calculating distance and the map no longer shows my path walked. Only shows time walked. Please fix ASAP as I'm sure my charity is losing out on donations.

Great in theory...

I love everything about this app... when it works. Like other reviewers, about half of my walks don't record. I've even intentionally watched it for the first few minutes to ensure it works, but somehow even what I watched doesn't record in the final tally. Tonight we walked almost 3 miles, I watched the first 0.15 of a mile, and at the end it said we walked 0 miles. It used to work flawlessly. So frustrating now!

Good

When the app works it tracks miles, time, and where you go. Lately though when I start it it doesn't register walking and thinks I've stayed in the same place.

Frustrating to use at times

MFader

I've been using this for over a year but finally decided to quit. It seems to drain my iPhone battery for one thing. Another is that it stops recording if I pause while my dog is sniffing a particularly good smelling area. Really makes me mad to check it at the end of a walk just to find that it just stopped recording. When I am getting ready to leave for a walk and have set it up but still putting the harness on the dog, the darned thing has already detected a "pause" and is ready to quit. It would be hard to check and reset while a dog is pulling away at a leash.

Great concept, terrible execution

Glendora Animal Lover

This is the third day in a row I returned from a long brisk walk only to find the app stopped tracking after a short distance. I didn't pause, it just somehow decided I had stopped. Pacer and other apps do a much better job of tracking activity, but I had liked the idea of supporting animal charities with this app. ?

Pedometer Does Not Work

dhslagle

After my 2 hour, 9.9 mile walk on the treadmill today Walk for a Dog said I travelled .27 miles. I have an iPhone 6 IOS 10.0.2. The app will not allow use unless the GPS is on. It said it detected no movement. I am using ResQWalk instead. The ads also will not respond when 'X' appears and is touched. Good idea but poorly executed.
