I can’t even get into the app to record walks or look at the new version. Every time I try, something called a Hero Card pops up and then it says loading, but never stops loading. I’m done with this app. I wish it would work, or even consistently work, which was my issue with the old version, since it has such a great premise, but it’s just to frustrating.

New design has too many glitches

I love this app and was excited about the new design but it has too many glitches. When ever I look up my previous walks, it shuts off. It often reports my miles walked as zero and it’s slower to boot up now and sometimes shuts off mid walk. I like the idea of supporting my local shelter and I use this app a couple times a day so I hope these things are improved soon.

Version 4.1 is not an improvement

Downloaded 4.1 several days ago. takes several minutes to start tracking even after waiting to get 3 bars on gps. history always shows past 30 days no matter which time line you select. This version needs a work. Should not have been released. Gave it 2 stars only because the is still some money support for my local kennel. Please fix it or go back to previous version.

I am retired and do pet sitting to augment my income. So I walk a lot of dogs. This app will stop tracking if you’re walking a senior dog who walks slowly. I can walk about a mile and it will have stopped tracking at less than half a mile. So if the donations are based on distance, they're cheating the shelter or rescue group. After using the app for about 8 months, I did get an alert that they made a donation to my rescue. There are 15 people who had walked over 1,000 miles before that alert arrived. I'd like to know how the donations are computed (miles, number of walks or number of people walking). And how often the donations are made. UPDATE: The most recent software update (7/2019) has made this app worthless. It often freezes, just quits, or fails to launch. I’ll be removing it from my phone.

Miss walks alot

Used to really like this app but About a week ago this app was totally redesigned and now there are many problems. Some walks not shown. Some walks register as more miles than they really are. There’s no total miles for the last 30 days shown. Today I started it up as a new walk and just stood in one place watching it as it slowly started showing miles adding up. The only thing I like about this new version is the history of each walk shows more detail on the main history page than it used to. I like to support the shelter I have chosen but if this stays this way, I’ll just send the shelter a bigger check.

I was using the app for about 6 years and it was great! Now recently, it doesn’t track my walk or stops halfway. I tried reinstalling it and it counted time but showed nothing else. I deleted this app from my phone, hoping it can be fixed. And I also would like to be able to see how much money my charity receives from our walks!

Great idea but problems working

Excellent app when it works — really a great idea and support that tries very hard. However, recent versions have simply not worked and won’t track walking. Consistent problems. I’m looking forward to the day it’s fixed and I can re-rate 5 stars! Maybe someday? It’s incredibly disappointing to want to earn for my shelter and discover always that the app doesn’t work and thus no benefit for my shelter. Yet somehow the ads they push always load! And that’s — annoying.
