The app keeps crashing. If I reload I lose the whole conversation thread which I would like to keep. Please fix asap

You say you are the most secure than BE THAT! I’ve used this app for for months now and my texts are not going through and neither are my calls to my wife! She says she doesn’t see calls sometimes! Why is that? Why are all my text stuck on sent and not “delivered” last night??

If you have any issues with this app, good luck reaching any representative to help you. I’ve sent emails to their support contact, and tried reaching them over social media via Twitter. No response.?

This app has all the features we want out of an app and there’s nothing we’ve been able to find yet that could replace it, but it’s so slow. We have a group of people messaging constantly and it takes forever for messages to sync and can sometimes just get really laggy. I love Wire and I can’t really switch off of it, but it’s also a pain.

This app is used for job scams. The scammer will text you for a great job opportunity. If you reply they ask for an interview by downloading this app. They’ll then proceed to collect information in attempts to scam you for money. DO NOT FALL FOR THE TRAP!

Having read some online reviews from privacy and security experts in the past 2 to 3 years, Wire seems to have been rated quite favorably. However, I think it’s slipped behind a few other secure messenger apps, particularly apps like Session, Status, MySudo and Threema. Some tips for improvement: 1). If someone calls you in the app and you miss it, the missed call notification is seemingly permanent. You can’t delete it by pressing the notification and selecting the delete option. I want to be able to completely clear my conversation history, including that. Although It can actually be deleted… But you have to delete the app and then re-login. Kind of annoying. 2). Why do I have to have the same pin code unlock that I use to unlock my iPhone itself? Other messenger apps allow you to create a custom pin. What if a friend or relative happens to know your iPhone unlock pin? Then they can access Wire! 3). Why do I have to create a group in order to set time to messages for the participants? Why can’t I set time messages for everyone in a normal one on one conversation?

The app quality has stagnated pretty hard. The share sheets into wire are currently broken in multiple odd ways, and marking messages as read remains somewhat unreliable. I love the ideas, but Wire is really just a less ubiquitous and somewhat mediocre signal competitor these days. Limited true accountability, mixed user experience, and unclear objectives.
This is funny looolololol
Many bank fraud, identity theft, scammers are swarming on this terrible application. There is no way to get in contact with support, already reported these people to the FBI and several police departments and ideally would like to reach out to the developers etc however it seems like they don’t have a contact number or anything. Either way, horrible application that attracts scammers and criminals. 1/5 If I could give it a zero I would.
