beware of “company” scams

almost got scammed from someone named alice saying that she hired me to work for a company. she kept making grammatical errors and promising me a very high salary if i would provide my bank info.
Scam with careless customer service

There is a lot of scammers using this app platform. I’ve been scammed so I contacted customer service and they didn’t even really care. I told them what happened they just stopped responding after they reached out to me once. It’s like they don’t care about the security of the users of this app platform.I strongly do not recommend this app based on how they carelessly handled the situation.

Please be aware. I was so close to giving my info to a scammer who promised me a high hourly paid job. I ended up call the actually company that they were pretending to be a part of and they said they do not use this app at all for any interviews that are conducted. Had a gut feeling and it was right.

I got an email about a job working from home with ymca. They used the correct info for them down to the names and logos. They wanted to mail me a check to deposit to buy equipment and asked for my login info for my bank. HUGE RED FLAG. I immediately investigated further. Found out that the emails for the company do not end in yahoo.com. DONT DOWNLOAD THIS APP TO COMMUNICATE FOR JOB PURPOSES SCAMMERS

I thought I was getting a good job by a company, but if you get hired by someone of the name of Arnold Duncun. Don’t fall for it. They send a check, but it was a forfeit. FAKE! Don’t fall for anything. This app is horrible too for letting fakes make people believe getting a job when it’s just a SCAM!

This app is a hotbed for job scams. I was recently the victim of an employment scam where someone pretending to be a real person convinced me to buy Apple Gift Cards to supposedly buy equipment for a new job. It turns out that the accounts were compromised and now my credit cards are suspended and my bank account on hold until further notice. Be advised that anyone who asks you to conduct an interview over this app, it’s most likely a scam. I’ve applied for jobs 3 times in a row where they email back saying they’re interested in hiring me for a video editor position and ask me to use this app to do the interview. You should be suspicious of anyone who wants to do an interview through this app. They won’t do anything about it.

Only use this app if you know what you are doing. Great for texting, calls and etc.. Just remember don’t trust anyone that is trying to hire you for a job and fee. It’s probably a scammer. Hard to fool a fool that is an security expert.
