Doing allot of fishing in the numerous canyons of Cabo San Lucas, I rely on Windy to get a read on the days it would best to hunker down and wait on a better day. During Hurricane season Windy is a must in tracking potential problems. Really pleased with the development of the newer features. Looking closer into water temps feature(s) now to see if enough detail data to pick up temp breaks. Windy is an excellent well developed resource.

I started using this app when TWC destroyed Wunderground’s once-excellent Storm. I continued to use Wunderground because I loved their UI and had been using the app for ages - but I’d check Windy too, especially when I wanted to see wind maps and waves. Now TWC has trashed Wunderground as well, and that was just the push I needed to move entirely to this excellent and comprehensive weather app.

Windy is the best!

I use National Weather Service, Passage Weather, NOAA and Windy to get current and projected forecasts for my sail route planning. Windy has the best graphics, the most information and is the most user friendly by far. Sailors love Windy!

Great for ocean swimmers

I use this to keep track of the wind, waves, sea temperature, and rain. It's great for the mariner types who understand all that. It has so many features that most people want use all of them. Great color schemes and I love how lightning flashes actually pop.
