I’ve read the reviews and got reluctant, but as it turns out, there was no need to worry. I think the setup confuses those who are not able to get a connection or there is actually network issue on their network. Works in the house and from outside (40 foot away so far). Took it o work (off my network) and it connected immediately when plugged up in the house afterwards. Works great for me.

Guessing the update they did a month ago screwed up the Wi-Fi connection in the app. It will get as far as 37% and then says have trouble. Before the update it worked. Now, I’m ready to take it back or trash it one! I received it for Christmas last year

Had the same connectivity issues. Once I got it going, found out you can't program it to start at a specific time. Seems like that should be a feature of a connected appliance.

Unable to use the Wi-Fi because this app is not supported by 5G Wi-Fi. Not really impressed anymore.

My wifi Crock-Pot worked fine until I moved. Same internet company and all. It connects but still asks me to reinstall... Over and Over. This is very frustrating. I would assume as much from this company though. Shame on me for thinking they would be better. It sounds great to have a WiFi cooker but this product does not provide this. Save your money and buy a better product.

I just love the convenience of being able to turn the crockpot on and off. I Freeze uncooked meals in crock pot liners in the crock so I know they will fit in if my kids put them in the crock pot If I am traveling. Then I can adjust and even turn the crockpot on and off while I am away. I did it from Germany the last time and it worked beautifully. If you have any problems connecting your phone to the Wi-Fi after it initially worked well, you just need to Uninstall the app and reinstall it. Don’t give up!

I'd love to give more than one star, but I can't even advance past the login or setup account pages. The login page claims I didn't enter a password and the setup page tells me to "please check your netWork". The password reset page works, but the website it emails a link to returns an error code every time you submit a password change. I was able to create an account from an Android emulator on my computer, so this appears to be an issue with the iOS version exclusively. I even tried on both my iPhone running iOS 12.1.2 and my iPad running iOS 10. Both exhibited the same error messages. This is very disappointing since i can only use my slow cooker in manual mode until this app is updated. Fingers crossed some developer actually reads these reviews...

I have tried the suggestions of uninstall and reinstall the app, says the pot is connected then loops right back to connect the app then never gets past 37%. Messed with it for over an hour, frustrating and a waste of my time. Was given this because I’m going in for major surgery tomorrow and needed a crockpot, now just another problem to deal with. Very disappointed.

Easy setup! Just remember to use a 2.4ghz connection and not a 5 ghz. B&D should add this important condition to the setup instructions.

App used to work perfectly. Now, however, I get all the way through setup and get the “successful” message but immediately after, I get a setup fail message. The setup makes it to 37% and fails every time. And before the developers try to pin this on my router or my internet connection, I’m a network administrator, so I can guarantee everything is good to go on my end.
