Fun game. Needs work

Onurich01

The game locks up in scenario 7 of the axis every time. Also there are no prices listed when buying add ons. I have no idea what I'm buying or what it costs.

Excellent wargame

Equestrian Infantrt

If you're a fan of war games this is the mobile one you've been waiting for. Initial purchase includes main campaigns for current and future battles. An additional 10 bucks unlocks advanced/larger scenarios and is well worth the price

Very Nice

Bis1871

This game is surprisingly deep. The mechanics are simple but the objectives and time limits make play challenging. The graphics are fine and the campaigns cover many battles. Well worth the price. Jim Cobb

Great game, but buggy

CGSC tactics

As far as gameplay goes, it's great. It reminds me of the operational level board games of yesterday. This being said, on my iPad 2 it crashes a lot, and I'm often unable to sign in to my account. Once the bugs are worked out--5 stars. Until then, 3!

Could be great

Rickus22

Good graphics and clean movement. Seems to have balance issues on some scenarios in the Campaign such as scenario 4 when played as the allies. You can surround the enemy tanks on 3 sides with twice the numbers and still lose big while the Germans lose nothing or next to nothing. Not realistic.

Game is glitched... Deleted every one of my completed levels

Ipad air 10703

This game is nice but please fix and or give me a solution to get back my saved games... I was on level 9... Now I'm on level 1 because the game reset itself...

Great game with a few rough edges

BDK45

I've played most of the games in the campaign so far, so I have a good sense of the gameplay. This is an enjoyable game with nice historical elements included, such as the identification of the actual historical allied vs axis units which participated in the Normandy campaign, with battle accounts of every unit. Nice graphics and animations of the various tank, infantry, and artillery units which were engaged in the campaign. The gameplay was reasonably challenging within the time constraints of the different scenarios. Issues of 'fatigue' of the units and the impact this has on their status during a battle should be better clarified, as does the various modifiers which affect attack/defense ratios. What, for example, is a 'field defense'? Hopefully such issues can be resolved in the next patch. I recommend this game to fellow wargamers--fun, challenging, and a good historical recreation of the Normandy campaign.

Outstanding wargame, both for beginners and grognards

PatSagor

This game is not only gorgeous and easy to learn and play, it also has tremendous depth. I own most of the turn based "serious" wargames on iPads, and this is one of my top 3.

A board game come to life

Faragaut1945

Best war game on IOS. Enough said.

Yes, excellent.

rhg

This is a very nice effort, with a solid gaming engine, a challenging A.I., and a good feel for the problems of strategy and tactics. The idea of using this gaming engine across many different wars and eras is an excellent one; I think this system has the potential to be an ideal wargame platform. For this game, I would prefer a few more customizations: for example, the initial zoom into the desk could easily be done away with, but in all, lovely work. Strong recommend.
