My previous review referenced a registration issue which has now been fixed although it took about a week for the developers to respond. This game really captures the classic tabletop wargame feel. The graphics are very good, The counters provide all the information I need, the UI is really well executed and I haven't experienced any crashes or bugs. There is a good variety of scenarios and the AI plays a pretty solid game for games of this type. There are some issues that would prevent me from giving it a full five stars however: First is the lack of an undo feature. In tabletop games it is customary to allow the moving player to take his move back unless he has moved another piece or triggered some hidden mechanic. I wish this was the case here. The second issue is that there is only one saved games slot which seems to me very curious because storage is so cheap and plentiful. I would like to play several concurrent scenarios but I can't.

I downloaded and attempted to purchase the October War campaign, but the game locked and would not time out during the purchase. Closing the program did not clear the lock. I uninstalled the program and now, after restoring my Normandy campaign purchase, can not load the Normandy Campaign scenario. The scenario loads to the 2/3 point of the progress bar then stops. Uninstall/Reinstall does not help....

Great tactical game better than most CPU games of the same kind. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the October War came out late and maybe not finished as much as they wanted. There isn't as much history and just like in the first campaign the tutorial system gets massively in the way. Also trying to register for MP and get a response from the company is slow/non-existent

iOS and it's developers are on a fast track to oblivion. Yet another game update that ruined the game itself. Can't even purchase the IAP that this update is all about... I assume an update for the update is near... Isn't that what the apple snobs always whined about windows etc ... ?

Enjoyed Normandy battle but this latest update freezes when Sagger attack with only two Arab tanks on first scenario. Will update stars when fixed.

The game, as others note, is quite excellent unfortunately, to create saves beyond the auto save you need to register. Which would be ok, except that the developers seem to not send the necessary confirmation emails, well, ever. EDIT: After the update, I can no longer buy anything, like the October War module. And still, zero support or communication from the developer.

W&B is a very solid entry into the market. It will be interesting to see how it holds up in other settings, but for now it certainly scratches the war game itch. The lack of undo (pre-combat) is uncalled for, but not any kind of a game breaker. Could a sandbox mode be in the future?

I enjoyed playing the Normandy Battle, and with that the October War. Yet now, I can't buy any advanced scenarios or the general scenarios, as the purchasing stats in a continuous loop. On that note, I can't load my Normandy General scenario, this is very disappointing. If these are fixed I will change my rating to five stars.

I enjoyed the game before the update but didn't play it much as, well, there are a lot of WW2 games out there. But I've never seen a game about the Yom Kippur War. Impressive detail in the game, yet easy to play. I didn't try to buy the whole campaign yet, so I didn't notice the IAP issues. And things are running very smoothly for me. Saw this morning that they are submitting a fix for that and other complaints. It took a long time coming, but I am thankful for this big update providing something really new. I'm a little skeptical about their timeline for the next games, but I am looking forward to them too. Especially the Korean War.

I bought the basic W&B app 6 or so months ago and played a few of the basic scenarios but became distracted and set it aside until just a couple of days ago. I bought the Normandy package and let me just say that this is a first rate wargame somewhat reminiscent of Unity of Command, but with better graphics, rules and scenarios. I'm very impressed with the game system and its modeling of the different weapons systems. There's a lot of meat under the seemingly simple procedure that contains a lot of tactical choices. I certainly haven't mastered it yet. Can't wait to try the whole campaign game. Kudos to Kermorio on a very remarkable product. Looking forward to more games in the series.
