Second review

Well since my first review wasn't posted I will follow up. A horrible game. AI does nothing but pile a massive amount of units on a victory hex and sit there because you will never be able to break it down by causing only the 3 points of damage that seem to be the max the Allies can inflict while German units cause Allied units to evaporate simply by being on the map. Not to mention the constant crashes the game experiences. All in all a horrible game

Good Game but crashes too much

Hoses850

I enjoy the game overall. You should get more levels for your purchase though. You have to buy the rest of the levels after the first 20. Looking forward to the Gettysburg scenario in 2015. The biggest issue I have is that it now constantly crashes on my iPad 2. Fix this and I'll give it 5 stars.

A great game!

War gaming' Best

This app reminds me of the old AH and SPI games I used to play as a kid. I can't wait for the rest of the titles in the series.

Read and understand the manual...then off to the races! Great game filled with action, accurate portrayal of historical units involved, and sublety.

Lots of Fun and great customer support

Having played wargames for over 25 years, I am having alot of fun with this one. Seems to really be designed for a mobile device. Had an account setup problem, they responded quickly within 24 hrs. AOL users be aware. AOL blocks their verifing email, it does not even end up in spam. If you have an AOL email you also may have to reach out to them for an account set up.....

Solid experience

Enjoyed this game.

Great Old-School Wargame

LtAinsty

As others have said, if you are a hex and counter wargamer, this will provide plenty of enjoyment. If you are not, and the game looks interesting at all, give it a try! Excellent adaptation for touch, 3D if you want it, air and artillery support that are easy to understand and use, panzers, it's all here. Fun and challenging for any old-school wargamer . I look forward to future titles in this series.

Good solid hex war game

Basic move and shoot en masse tactical game with nice graphic and historical backdrop. Thumbs up.

Good, solid game but...

Update: The developers web site says October War is supposed to be out in May. Wonder what happened to Kharkov? If they make that date they still have 5 more to release that, in theory, were to be out in 2015. Doesn't look like that'll happen at the current rate. I was checking out their forum to see if I could get more details but there's a dialog about some issue with the forum and a lot of the discussion threads were lost. I wonder if they've heard of backups? ;-o --- This developer was scheduled to release Kharkov at the end of last year and Gettysburg by the end of 1st quarter of 2015 and we've not seen either yet. I imagine Ultimate General: Gettysburg may have put a crimp in their plans as that game will be very hard to even just equal in game play let alone anything to be better.
