Pay to win or pay a sub $10 a month to play a none mmo

I was really excited when I saw this game, since with Baldur’s Gate 3, around the corner it fills a gap. I'm ok with the game taking the adventuringbout for combat, it's a bit repetitive, but it's entertaining. The main reason I'm giving this game 1 stars, is that it's a pay to win trap. You have to pay $9.99/mo but there are no mmo features to it, that's $120 a year for a mobile game, that has no exploration or other means to make money to pay for upgrades. I basically got to the point where I can't pay for upgrades because there is there is no way to make gold unless you spend gems. I've played D&D games for over 30yrs and I have never played a game where you need to pay to level up your character. I'm just very disappointed at the developers for doing such a rip off. I would have preferred to pay $15 flat to own the game, and get around the money time gates, so I could progress my character. But there is no way in hell I'm going to subscribe to a game at $10 a month... Much less have to pay real money to level characters or buy them. And please Developers, if you are going to leave a comment saying ”we read all your comments and feedback... Blah blah blah.” please don't. I'm surprised wizards of the coast licensed their title to you guys to make this game a rip-off for the players.

The game is always crashing. When I play for a half an hour it will crash at least 6 times. Right now I cannot even open the game since it is stuck in a reward flash screen that it cannot load before the game crashes and I have to try and restart again, and again, and again, over and over and over again. This company needs to fix all of the bugs and crashes. Very frustrating.

This game seems fun when you start but after a day or two you realize it is just repetitive and all based on RNG. If you can get past “new levels” being the same thing with different graphics, the frustration behind the luck that goes into ever tap you make. Good luck with the lifespan on this one and good luck creators no one would spend money on your over priced pack! Ps the packs are RNG as well :)

Warriors of water deep is a broken and unbalanced pvp game that carries the licensing of D&D. Many, many players have complained and Ludia double downed on the pvp system by adding more rewards for playing this pathetic excuse of an attempt at D&D. The story quest line is linear and extremely lacking. You must play the same few dungeons over and over and over. It’s absolutely boring. Ludia added daily challenges of the same boring dungeons and their broken pvp. With D&D there are so many options and opportunities and this is the best Ludia could do. There are thousands of campaigns and quests to pull from in D&Ds vast library and Ludia chose not to use any of it. This game is a pay to play (and it’s gonna take a lot to win) pvp based broken nightmare. Don’t waste your time or money. There are too many other games out there that are actually engaging and don’t require you to empty your wallet. UPDATED: being such a big fan of D&D I had to come back after the last update to see if Ludia had fixed this game. My account got lost for a second time(I had screenshots of my account information from the first time it happened) it took nearly a week to get back into the game. Ludia did attempt to fix PVP for that, I will give them credit. At least they tried because it’s still freaking garbage and this is why. Constant disconnects. It’s not my ISP, it’s not solar flares, it’s not anything but Ludia. I play several games, none of them disconnects. As a matter of fact, it only happens during pvp. Since you tie exclusive events and rewards to a broken pvp system, you will generally piss off a lot of your customers. There are two solutions, 1) fix your freaking pvp issues (which you have already failed at) 2) make pvp items available through other means; either through story or explore mode, guild achievements or store bought. I’ve tried your pvp too many times to be robbed and disappointed. Shove your pvp where the sun doesn’t shine.

Well I was having a good time with it. Even donated a bit out of good conscience by getting the extra warrior list missions. Now with this update they have made the best time I had with the game a VIP only based service for $10/month. Guess I will be getting a lot of my free time back as I am just not going to do that. I was ok with being able to pick and choose when I donated for the warrior list pack, but you ha e greeted yourselves out of that from this guy and his multiple accounts. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.......
