Fun but glitchy

It's a great game overall. It is money driven of course but it isn't all that expensive to get the extras and you can still play and enjoy without spending. That said it has code issues. Atm the guilds appear to not be working at all. Some buttons are covered by other buttons making them unusable. I'd like to skip a turn in battle mode but the chat button is on top of skip button? Play and enjoy just understand that you'll get annoyed from time to time.

The PvP has to many cheaters or modders that some how disrupt my internet connection and by the time I click reconnect the match is over and I lost. The opposing players special abilities last the entire match like immobile and taunt were mine only last one turn. I am more a campaign player than a PvP. Even the campaign has you going up against lvl 14 with your lvl11 so the going is hard and gold in short supply.

Developers don’t know why they are doing. Been playing almost 2 years. This app has always been poorly made, frequent forced reboots, long loading times moving from screen to screen, etc. but at least you could get into the app. They did something in last update that makes it super hard to log in now. It’s delete, reboot, reinstall, hope and pray, rinse and repeat a dozen times to get in. Nothing else I use has so many problems like this app.

Fun game to play, often the matchmaking isn’t too balanced. Since the last update the battle is completely broken. Stalls and cannot do anything.

This would be a great game if the pay wall was lessened to be more optional. First couple plays feel great, but then you immediately start struggling to locate resources to continue playing while you are constantly bombarded with ‘only $9.99/mo for extra resources’.
Matchmaking forces you to lose.

Like other reviews said, the matchmaking places you against opponents that are impossible to beat, let alone do even 10% damage to their HP. Garbage—uninstalled.

UPDATED REVIEW: Multiple updates later, the game is still a “gatekeeping” mess. Pay to win. BOTTOM LINE: This is a game designed to be like a free trial. While the whole game is unlocked and in front of you, it’s a charade because it will never be able to be enjoyed unless paying the $120 annually at a minimum. You hit the invisible pay wall early and hard. The GOOD: - Animations / Art - Story - Battle System The BAD: - No Character customization, you play only their heroes. - Can’t select specific characters in PvP, it’s random. - PvP matches you with unbeatable players, who are levels above or paid for gear. - PvP has no way to quit a match - PvP is designed to keep you in check, to make more purchases, instead of assigning balanced players or NPCs opponents. - Slows to an inebriated crawl after an hour of play. - The game is centered around it’s subscription and store, that you must use if you don’t want the crawling gameplay. - No *efficient way to grind rewards. - Upgrading items and Character level-ups consume additional resources. Meaning even though your many character and items qualify, you can’t because you didn’t pay, and it takes days of average gameplay to grind needed resources for a single action. This starts as early as character level 5, and all of your characters/items will deal with this at the same time, which again contributes to the crawling pace - lest you pay.
Broken battle trophies after last patch

After the last patch winning pvp battles only awards 10 trophy points, losing is anywhere from -40 to -55. If I’m evenly matched I should win 50% with same skill. This way I have to win 4 or 5 games for every one I lose…
