Must scratch that itch! It’s a fun game to pass time and able to play something D&D related on your phone. If you’re a D&D lover like myself then I highly recommend the VIP subscription.

The developers need to play their ToM

The pvp while it can be fun can be tedious with the Test of Might challenges where you have to fight hundreds of battles to complete. They have a challenge right now where they are offering a character if you WIN 60 battles in pvp. It feels like they are trying to make us drop 50 dollars to buy the character instead. I will say that I haven’t spent a dime on this game and am still finding legendary items and many of the Epic level items, which are found in the normal challenges are at least as good. If Ludia would reduce the pvp stuff a factor of 10, I think this would be a fun game.

This game is a lot of fun. Like many games there is a pay to play aspect but is not something that is required. You can absolutely spend the time and grind through and get the gear needed to be successful. That being said the player vs player mode for battles could be the most frustrating experience you will ever have on an online game if you are trying to play at the highest levels without pay. The aspect of RNG and the huge mismatch in the players you face in battles will drive you crazy - hence how they get their cash. Have to fight through that to enjoy the game to its fullest extent.

First of all it’s total money grab. So beware. Secondly it’s super buggy. It’s like they don’t QA it at all. Plus suffers from awful balance issues and only gets worse with each update! Third customer service is virtually nonexistent which compounds how bad the bugs are. Finally Ludia the developer should be ashamed of themselves. Great theme. Could have been a great game but the developer is totally incompetent. Wizards should revoke their license.

So the game is good, but they have it rigged in the events. They offer the ability to play other people every once in a while and if you win, you get rewards the more you win. Well, after a few wins, they place you against people way better than you. There is a trophy system in the regular multiplayer system, and you can see what your trophy’s are vs. your opponents. Well, you would think you play against people close to your number right. Well me at 500 trophies, was put up against someone at 1,000. I then said, let me test this, so I leveled down to 200 trophies, and repeatedly was put up against the 1,000 trophied players. And if you lose 3 times, you must pay to try again. Well, that’s rigged if I’ve ever seen it.
