Great with major flaw

Mamaof3es

The app works great during ordering but, even when the order is ready for pick-up, I can’t check in. It’s not a dealbreaker for me but it increases my wait time during pick-up. When I asked the associate about it, he said it’s a very common problem!

I’ve had great experiences

ALEC FROM BAKO MUSIC

The main problem is that I can’t check in when I get there.

Be cautious with credit card info

Qweknee

First time using app and I was excited. As I checked out and attempted to select payment, I had credit card info, along with names and addresses, of two strangers saved on my page. I am certain they have no idea I could utilize their cards for purchases. I am opting to not add my credit card info as I fear it could be accessible to others who may not be as ethical.

Love it!

I have no complaints. Been using this since summer. One suggestion though, which I have been regularly suggesting via the surveys. Please add a free text box to be able to add any special directions, i.e. greenish bananas, lunchmeat sliced thin, etc. Add that and you get a solid 5 stars ? from me!

Please add iPhone X Compatibility

Kroger Clicklist already have iPhone X Compatibility. Please update the Walmart app to do the same!

Don’t use!

Cathylynn5614

Don’t use the wal mart online app at all! They don’t tell you if you spend so much at one time that they will decline or debt card until your bank approves it! A d if you try to put your order in more then once they will charge your banking account more the once as soon as your bank approves it to go threw and you don’t always get what what you ordered either.

Nope.

At least locally, this is a mess. The app never works past placing your order. I’ll get an emailing stating my order is ready and I can go into the app, but the app still says processing and I have to call. Defeats the purpose of the app check in if it doesn’t even work. Every time I order, and every time the only way to update it is to delete and download the app. Now, our store. Ffs. I’m not sure why they have the whole time slot because they just come out to anybody there. Checked in early since last time it took them 30 minutes to bring out my order (only about 3-4 cars there that were still all there after), so figured that was the smart thing. Get there, wait 25 minutes while the guy loads up some other person (ONLY car until now) that just pulled in and chats her up, then receive our items. If it’s “ready” for pick up why does it take so long to just take it outside to the ONLY vehicle currently waiting. Has potential, but they really need t get it together. But in the app as well as store execution...

Please update for iPhone X

Did not work just now ( since your update. Worked like a charm in the past! Thanks for screwing up something that actually worked! Fix it!

LOVE the service; really annoyed by app

Grape Julius

Update—December 1st: yet another update, yet another fail. There is STILL no fix for the “check in” button that has inexplicably disappeared, which kind of defeats the entire purpose of the app. I am now downgrading my review to 1-star until it is fixed; it’s a shame, because it used to be a 5-Star app to go along with the always reliable 5-Star curbside service from the store employees. Update—November 7th: the check-in bug is back. ? At completely random times, when you get the email that your order is ready for pickup, the “check-in” bug disappears from the app and the “reserve a time” button takes its place. When this happens, no amount of finagling or restarting can bring back the “check-in” button—you’re just out of luck for that particular pickup and have to call when you arrive (a passable but far less convenient option). We should at least be able to click on the current order being processed and have the option to check-in there, but no such option exists—it’s the check-in button or bust. Please fix this!! If you hate grocery shopping--the long lines, the weird fluorescent lighting (at Walmart, at least), the annoying customers, the parking, the aimless wandering up and down aisles trying to find that one thing you can't leave the store without--then THIS is the answer. It's free, it's convenient, it's the one thing that Amazon can't match. I'm sold, and because of this app and this service-- after years and years of avoiding Walmart like the plague--I'm finally shopping there once again.
