Cannot tell you how much time and money this service saves me! I'm an impulse buyer and can spend hours in Walmart! This is also great when you don't want to deal with the other shoppers or if it's a busy time of year. Saves your sanity too!
Changes to order are very unreliable

I’ve used this app several times without issue but my latest use was very frustrating. I logged my order, chose a pick up time and everything looked good. I added more items later and received an email confirmation that my order was updated with the new things. I tried to add more things after that and the app wouldn’t allow the update. I called tech support, spent 30 minutes on the phone with them, thought everything was fine until I picked up my order the next day and only had about 1/3 of the stuff I ordered. On the store’s end, my order was “complete”. When I sent WM grocery an email, reviewing my experience, they responded by telling me to delete the app then reinstall. Now I have to run around picking up the stuff they left off my order and diddle with this buggy app. This faulty app wasted much of time. It’ll be a while before I use WM grocery pick up again.

Someone placed an order on my account and it was cancelled shortly after. 3 days later and my account still has not been refunded the $78! Nor have the 2 people who have returned my messages been able to help me. Help topics do not tell you how to report fraudulent activity on your account. App does not allow you to remove your bank acct info or change your password!!!! Check in link in email redirects you several times before you're taken to the app. Sometimes the email says it's ready and the app says it's processing. Other times the app shows it's ready and you don't get the email for another 20 minutes. Clearly all the bugs and security issues were not worked out before launching this service!

I’ve been using this app and service for about 6 months now. I started when I was very pregnant, and grocery shopping was the last thing I wanted to do. Now it’s how I do my shopping almost exclusively. I’ve never had issues with my pick up, or the quality of the produce or meat. There are often substitutions, but I haven’t had any issues with those either. The only downside to this is that it is made me spoiled. If I do shop without it I find the shopping, standing in line, and loading my car to be dreadful. Maybe it’s the millennial in me talking, but it’s about time grocery shopping and technology merge! I recommend this to everyone!
Location tracking is hit or miss

I love the service but the app can use some work. It tracks my location ok sometimes but often I’ll be sitting in my vehicle for a while because while Maps has me at Walmart, the app isn’t using the location service. I verified it has permission and maps shows me there but the Walmart app doesn’t. Not user error or issues with my iPhone

I realize that most of the reviews that are negative are either based on earlier versions of the app or because they’re local Store is not working efficiently. My experience has been an absolute joy. The employees have been extremely courteous even with ungrateful and unadaptable Customers. Although, I only witnessed one obnoxious customers as everyone else that I’ve seen have been so happy and grateful. I have autoimmune illness that sometimes leave my joints very impaired. Shopping is a nightmare. Walking across large stores are too. I was already grateful for the choice of a Wal-mart neighborhood market. However, now I’m ecstatic over the ability to attend to the needs of my family when I’m having one of my worst days. This service kind of spoils you and I will be using it regularly. I heard about it from people who had surgery and another that had a lower limb injury, which forced them to try this option. Positive feedback spread like wildfire amongst the parents. Drop the kids off at school and go pick up your order. I see Mother’s with babies and toddlers picking up large orders. I wish I had this service a few years ago when my kids were babies. This has been the best addition to Wal-mart. Also, it may only be the product if the efforts of my local store, but I’ve seen changes in the employees who are showing more courtesy and practicing better customer service.

I had to wait 45 minutes before I got my order. I think I could have done it myself in less time. As for the app, it’s nice. Just didn’t like the service.

If I order online and you send me an email it’s ready. I leave and go pick up. Why have I had to wait in the pickup area for 27 minutes for my groceries to come out. Wonder is Kroger is more organizer
