WALMART FAILING SENIORS!!!

DELETED THIS APP TRIED DAILY FOR TWO WEEKS SUPPORT LOCAL INDEPENDENT GROCERS INSTEAD! THEY ARE COMING THROUGH WITH DELIVERY AND SHOPPING WHEN WALMART IS FAILING! Seriously no frozen veg? No pasta? No meat? These items are on the store shelf you are denying food to the most vulnerable through this app Seniors need basic staples meat and frozen vegetables not your $$$$ wagyu beef and hipster BS food!!! Could be a good service but not now when we need it the most

Big fan of this app (and the Walmart pickup service overall): how you check in even before you leave your house and it tracks your GPS and prompts you for your space number/car color when you arrive is so much better of an experience than having to use an intercom after you arrive and wait extra time. It’s so effortless! Love it.

Had an order placed for three days, day of order they send me an email at 330am saying they cancelled it. Corporate and the store said tough pretty much and they would not resolve the issue.

This app never works! Very disappointed I’m being trying to used for almost six month and never works at all and you have to change password every time you want to use it or log in and get a message that something wrong in owe end. Do not recommend this app

I wait a couple of days to get a time slot and place an order Thursday night for a six o’clock pm Friday pick up . It gets cancelled at six pm on Friday . Shouldn’t happen. Poor planning.


No iPad Support, No Other Option to Use

When on an iPad using any browser, when going to the normal Walmart.com site and then click on their Grocery link, it automatically *forces* users to download the Walmart iOS app and use it, there’s no way to use the grocery part through their site. Huge Problem: The iOS app is *only* for iPhone, on iPad, it opens only in portrait mode, the keyboard rarely shows up (so the only way to type in there is to type in another app, copy it, and paste it in this app. Very ridiculous. Walmart is obviously a ridiculously-HUGE company. They don’t have a tiny bit of money to make/convert their iPhone app so that it can work on iPad? Seriously, please update this app and make it work - including landscape mode. If you’re an iPad user, don’t even bother to try ordering from Walmart grocery. Pick another retailer that actually has a working iPad compatible app, or at least that their website doesn’t *force* users to *only* use their app, even though it doesn’t even support the device you’re on (Yes Walmart, I’m looking at you - this is beyond ridiculous).


Canceled my order with no explanation

Absolutely terrible service. I ordered for delivery 2 days out, when it was hard enough to even get a time slot. The day of, they never show up. I call the support number and I’m told that my order is still at the store, 2 hours after my delivery time. I’m put on hold so they can check to see what’s going on, and I’m later told that they couldn’t get anyone at the Madison, MS Walmart to answer. I’m told that someone will contact me in the next hour to give me an update. An hour and a half later I check my app to see that my order has been canceled. No phone call. No explanation. I’m now almost out of groceries and under a Shelter in Place order by my state that started today at 5. The whole point was to not have to go to the store. That is unacceptable service.


Terrible from beginning to end

First of all this in Northwest Ohio is worthless. The app freezes in the favorites portion. Sometimes the items appear to be in stock but won't load into the cart. So I don't know if they are really out of stock or not. I have not been able to get any toliet paper or paper towels for a month or more. The canned peas and green beans in the great value brand are never in stock. You can't get any kind of bleach, canned rolls like pillsbury or any kind.. today I ordered strawberry and a peach jam in great value and they refused to substitute and when questioned they said they had none. These are only some of the issues. I'm retired so I have time to check this daily and nothing is in stock. They have no fresh or frozen chicken breasts and have not had for weeks, no chicken tenders, no Colby cheese. I ordered great value ground pepper and they said there was none- no substitute either. I am extremely disappointed in the app and the store pick up. I've written to the corporate office and they do not address any of the concerns-/ just blow my off and I've written several times. I'm disabled and diabetic, the government wants us to utilize pick up options but how can we when there is very little to get???
