Excellent

Tchahattou

Very vast selection of anime options. Thank you for allowing us to set the video quality, a lot of other sites don't have that option for my old iPad

Decent service

TrashyBento

The ads are always played perfectly never stop when my wifi is trash, however my show suffers from my wifi problems and play like slideshows when my wifi goes bad, I find it odd but whatever it’s wifi issues, some animes I can’t watch cause paid subscription which I dislike because I always get 3 ads every time and they’re long and boring

Sync Functionality

Aiixc

I’m very pleased that I can download anime offline and watch them at any time. However, the one issue that I found is that when it’s a sub-anime, the subtitles don’t appear. I’m not sure if this is an iPad error or if it’s just a coding error, but it would be highly appreciated if someone could look into the bug.

Doesn’t load on iPad

Lost most of the heavy hitters

Danjim1039

I originally got this subscription because it had Crunchyroll and Funimation bundled in addition to lots of other channels. Kinda lost some interest when Funimation left but they added HIDIVE and now that this app is essentially just watered down Crunchyroll with their other two smaller VRV exclusive channels which don’t offer too much. Bummed out cuz this started as a wonderful place to have all my anime together but now it’s just a shell of its former self.

Premium user

The app is absolute trash to navigate. There are better free anime websites and apps!!! However I must support the anime industry and pay my dues

Great service, lackluster app

I love VRV, it’s a great deal for a lot of content, especially if you’re an anime fan. But the app needs work. You can look at the main page, you can look at your queue, and you can search, and that’s about it. You need to already know what you want to watch when you use this app - there’s no way to just browse, even by genre which seems like a very basic thing for a streaming service. Seasonal release schedules are big for anime, and there’s no way to view content based on season, which makes it hard to keep up on releases without using some other source (MAL, ANN, etc). So it’s not good for finding new things to watch at all

To many ads

Lita rose

I’m going to try to keep it short but I don’t pay for the premium subscription instead I use the free version of it with the ads but they just add way to many ads into a 20-30 min. Episode. For instance, you get 4 when you start, 4 in the middle of the episode, and 4 at the end. You also get 4 ads when you come back to watch the episode after taking a quick 5 to 10 minutes break and you sometimes get 4 more ads just after finishing the other 4 ads. Meaning that you can get anywhere from 12 ads to 20 ads or more depending on how many extra ads or breaks you take within a 20 -30 min. episode of an anime. So I wouldn’t recommend the free version of this app unless you have patience to watch all those ads. Ps. It used to not be this way when I first got this app and you used to be allowed to skip small ads too.
