Great but has flaws

Muramasa-P

It's really great on the phone and android devices, but there are problems. The audio messes up if you fast forward(hits the dubs harder from research) and the subtitles sometimes are wack. The app is great but you need to fix the problems like this to have more people wanting to pay premium. The ads don't bother me also. Once again, great app, but tread carefully.

Preety good

I would rate it a 5 star if u could put at least subtitles on the shows, i've been wanting to watch naruto and i dont see no option for subtitles, please put them in

Broken on 6s

ToeSnub

The ads are horribly placed, replay if you accidentally tap on one of them and are brought somewhere else, and they’re glitchy. Sometimes the audio becomes completely out of sync and makes it unusable, the app crashes a LOT, and the interface becomes a glitchy mess and crashes occasionally. I love the idea and VRV itself, but the app is just broken.

Great app with one caveat

kissinconcert8

App works as intended and the ability to download shows is fantastic for someone who spends so much time on the subway. My only request would be to remove the volume limiting, many times it's difficult to hear the show I'm watching because of background noise around me even at max volume, but then I switch to music and it's blaring at me.

Casting to tv needs work

Ninjachad

Pretty good experience with the app so far, but the “cast to tv” feature needs work. I’ll try to cast it to my Vizio smart tv, and it’ll just give a loading sign. If I just had that, it would be perfect. Thanks!

Great app! if you get a subscription

sarah2241

I’ve seen a lot of reviews complaining about the execution and ads of this app but in my opinion this app is great, clean, and easy to maneuver. If ads bug you, just like any other streaming site, then premium will be best for you. Other than that I think this app is great and has so many great platforms and streaming services all in one app. It’s really a no brainer, it works great!

Many, many issues

Echriser

Sometimes, volume decides to stop entirely and you either have to exit the video or wait for an ad break to get it back. The problem with exiting the video player, even for half a second, to fix errors is that you have to watch a set of ads again. So you end up with watching the three ads from exiting that fix your video player (hopefully) plus the additional three ads from the regular commercial break. On top of that, the subtitles often have issues where you end up rotating your device multiple times in order to get them to appear again. The thing I do enjoy out of the app is the concept. It would be a place to enjoy watching good shows without bouncing between apps if it weren’t for all of the bugs.

feature improvements please!

.: chibisuke :.

second day with vrv, so far, needed improvements across the apps (for the different platforms)-- rewind last 10sec as well as fast-forward 10sec (instead of 30sec) filtering feature!! we'd love this! filter by genre, completed vs ongoing, etc. will update rating accordingly as new app updates arrive

Needs to sync with iOS TV app

SwiftLemon

It would be nice to subscribe via iTunes and if VRV could actually sync to the TV app correctly unlike the Crunchyroll app it would be awesome. Until then the interface isn’t very good and the watch list seems way to hard to get to.
