Remember this is sailing. Some of these races take over a month to complete. Some of the features in the game need to be explained better. If you’ve never sailed I think you’ll get frustrated and bored right away because it’s hard to understand a lot of it. The 3D views are secondary to the game, but I think they need to improve. Land masses should be visible, and the sea state should change with the weather. I have not encountered any storms or weather so maybe it does but I have not seen it. Also it would be cool to be able to navigate from the 3D view with a map window open. For these reasons I don’t use 3D view unless another boat is nearby. I would really like to be able to set 3D view while I sleep and listen to the ocean waves at night.

The Game I have been playing on and off from the first time the VR Volvo ran. It has been two or three years since last I played. Seems similar but a lot more expensive. As far as the game goes it is great. A few things I wish, when setting waypoints, i would like it to give me the true wind angle form point to point as it does with the timed course changes. it is vary hard to set course with out it. I keep ending up high or low. I like the time change cards better but those don’t get awarded very often in the 12 hour card barrels. Also how is there not a true wind angle auto pilot like the auto sail? Tactically some times you want to take a lift or header but can’t with out burning up a lot of waypoints. I bought a subscription thinking that would get me waypoints and timed course changes. (Why can’t you us both at the the same time?) only to find out that I still had to pay for the cards. Or pay a fair large sum up front. I am two events in and have spent well over $60 bucks, which seems expensive for a VR game. You can accumulate points and cards in the game allowing you to play for cheaper. I in tend on doing the VG this summer. But that may deepened on how may credits I earn finishing the JV and great escape.

This game is amazing, a simulator made by y’all would be the best iOS would have. I think y’all should make a boat/ship simulator with a wide selection of real boats and ships, a massive open world map with multiplayer(optional). The amazing graphics of this game infused into the new simulator. ??

Constantly disconnects. I know it’s not on my end. It’s an iOS issue on yours. I loved this game, but when you put this much time into something and have issues almost every time you check on your game... no thanks.

Love it! I was a liveaboard kid, grew up racing and I enjoy this immensely! Thanks to the creators.

Great fun, learned a lot about weather and weather systems, fun to compete with other players

I have been playing for many years now, starting with a Vendée Globe, then a Volvo, always being fascinated by the true underlying of the game! Wether you spend a fortune tuning your boat at the start of a race or just go with a spartan outfit, it is always a challenge. I love every minute of it. Keep up the good work.

The only thing I’d add is the buoys and markers should be seen in 3D view.

I have sailed virtually on this platform for the past 3 months. I can tell you that it is really fun... it just has a lot of room for improvement especially with the 3D mode. I need to see land where there is land, etc. Otherwise, it is good, except my iPad keeps crashing when I use this app.

Game is really fun to play. I like to put in 3D mode at night as I sleep to hear the water and wind sounds. I do wish you could keep your boat for future races. Thanks for the fun.
