Not too happy with most recent update

I can have this app open, go to another app real quick and back to this one and every time I have to log back in again. Also, doesn’t show my recordings for either camera I have.

It’s been days since I’ve noticed that my cameras no longer records on my SIM card. It keeps telling me to reformat. But it doesn’t work.

I have 6 Vimtag cameras and there is one nonstop, major irritation in this app. I have three ceiling mounted cameras and there is a setting to flip the image 180 degrees which works fine - for a week or two. Then it reverts and the camera image is upside down. I go into the app, flip the image, “save” and then a week or two later the same thing happens on all three cameras. It’s really annoying. I heard back from the developer who told me to “update the app”. My iPhone is set to auto update apps regularly. It’s not an app update issue - it’s a programming issue. The screens still flip 180 by themselves and have to be reset weekly. It’s still annoying.

**Latest app update keeps logging us out of app. PLEASE FIX ASAP!!** For a camera app, this NEEDS to be very reliable which is not always the case. It’s not bad, but there are times when I can’t connect...and when you want to check on your baby those times can be very frustrating! On a positive note, it’s nice to be able to check cameras remotely. But as mentioned, sometimes you’ll see the “device offline” for no apparent reason..or just one of cameras aren’t connected.

This app was working fine until they updated it about a week ago. Now the app constantly shuts itself down and every time I open it back up, I’m required to reenter my user name and password. It’s very frustrating since I’ve been using the app and camera as baby monitors. Hope they fix whatever they broke and they fix it fast! ?

Latest update renders camera useless

Updated 5/5/2019 The latest updated wiped all recordings from the SD card and now I can't even access anything because the submenus for the recordings pull up one that is all Asian language characters . . It keeps telling me to insert an SD card even though there is an existing one there that clearly has been recorded over because the capacity level. It appears that I'm not the only person suffering from this issue I see another reviewer has the same problem . Every time I try to access the SD card it reverts back to the Asian menu and get stuck and I have to hard exit the app on my iPhone. This company really needs to get their act together because every update that happens is challenging ... customer support is next to zero! I already have four of these cameras in my house but will seriously be researching other companies because this is ridiculous. Original review: This has always been fairly decent camera it was somewhat easy to set up everything as a system. every time there's an update, the cameras are very buggy and it takes a couple of days to adjust. the latest update however has rendered the ability to basically control the camera via the app useless. it takes away the ability to snapshot a motion detection (scene function) and only allows video. The scene function has been taken out of the settings so you can no longer tell your camera system if you're in or out, which basically voids the ability for you to determine when the camera is going to record. I'll be more than happy to change my review once I'm able to use my cameras for what they were purchased for.

1. Required to login every time I use the app, great job on the update. 2. All my history disappeared, thanks. 3. Can’t view current motion detection alerts, what good is the alert if you can’t view the video. What a joke if you try to get app support, everything is vague once you get to the page after being bombarded with new products.

The app it’s all about the app. App continuing to log me off please fix and before camera screen stayed on now with new software-update screen locks my app within a minute have to keep refreshing remove ads please... put the ads in the main intro page or have the app revert to the product tab each time we login I understand it’s a business but the app needs to be fixed login cont. etc. because now it’s embedded please either create two apps or give us the options to turn features on off. Also it would be cool if we could turn on or off a button on the app say “no motion while home button” and a night time motion button as well that way when we connected to WiFi at home or it geo locating us close to home will not continue to send motion alerts while I’m at home. Overall camera work great please fix this app (the app can solidify Vimtag as the go to home camera suite or it can break you) this is what users use daily to for security etc. purposes it needs to designed practically. Like around daily uses. I liked the app they way it was although it was very reliable needs extras. Thank you for listening. God Bless you, Amen.

Login since upgrade

Since the last upgrade I have to login every day, and we can only have the login for our camera in one place. It is very frustrating to have to login every time we want to check the camera.
