I used to love Vidangel

Snaver

I've been using Vidangel since the very beginning, back when they used to charge a yearly fee for access. I loved the service back then, although it did have its flaws. Later they moved on to a-la-carte pricing, which was perfect! I brought many customers to Vidangel during that period. Later, they were forced them to change their streaming model to a less-desirable one. I don’t fault them for that, as that’s Disney’s doing. However, I DO fault them for having switched, at the same time, to a horrible monthly-subscription pricing model. I don’t have time to watch enough content to make a monthly subscription worth the cost, so the service is now unusable to me. I kept my 5-star review for a couple more years, hoping they’d offer a pricing model for people who don’t have much time for movies, but years later, they still only have the same crappy subscription pricing models (they added a $1.99 subscription model, but it’s not usable since it mostly only covers movies that aren’t available for rent on Amazon - i.e. movies that Amazon only sells, not rents). I have a lot of tolerance for bugs and such, and I kept my 5-star review during those periods, but the pricing model isn’t a bug, it’s intentionally crappy and makes the service unusable to me, therefore I have to dock some stars now.
