Worst piece of crap app

I paid 15 bucks for a subscription, but it won’t get past the stinking “payment processing “ page. It’s fr so maddening. I would like a refund, or just some help to get this fixed.

For months I have been trying to watch something in this app. It doesn’t work. It is buggy and I have reinstalled it and tried everything I can think of to make it work. Terrible. Don’t waste your time.

I love the concept of the VidAngel’s service. However, their programming team has done a poor job implementing their iOS app. I just paid for a subscription but can’t even use it since their app doesn’t recognize my purchase even though it shows up under my Apple subscriptions as active. Everything from navigation the app, managing your watchlist, or even just hitting the back button are all super buggy. As a software engineer, I simply can not understand how this app is being released with such obvious bugs! I’ve used alpha/beta apps that are far more stable than this. I’m going to ask Apple for a refund.

Such a need for an app like this. Not without some kinks, but I’m rooting for this service to continue to get better. Support them!!!

Functionality worsened by updates

Please go back to stand alone apps within each streaming device, i.e. Apple TV, Roku, Fire etc. The current method of validating and sending to the streaming device is awful. Half the time it won’t connect and send and other times it will just stop mid stream. I want to continue to enjoy filtered content, but this has caused me concern about keeping my subscription.

The app on my iPad has worked fine thus far for Netflix and Amazon prime. There was one movie my wife purchased on Amazon that took a bit to get figured out. Overall, this app has been great. Hopefully it continues to improve.

I just downloaded VidAngel and doesn’t let me sign into Netflix. It just keeps loading and never takes me to the sign in page. I signed into Amazon but when I try to airplay to my Apple TV it also keeps loading forever and never plays I spent at least 45min trying to get it to work and nothing works

As much as I like being able to watch movies with a filter, VidAngel hardly works with other streaming services like Amazon Prime. I tried watching a movie I had purchased on Amazon Prime and I ended up having to download 3 different apps with 3 different subscriptions just for it not to work. Unless the movie you want to watch a movie that is already on VidAngel, I recommend not wasting money on this subscription.

The effort it takes to get on this services stinks. Also, trying to find out what it cost takes reading of the fine print.
