A great tool for anyone looking to guard their heart

MotherAtTheWell

This is an easy to use and excellent tool to censor the things that might cause us to sin. Taking the vulgarity out of movies doesn’t change the quality of movies at all, and makes you realize how unnecessary most of it is. I can watch movies with my kids now without worrying about objectionable content. Five stars.

Fix the issues!

Crossfit Strong

I’m constantly having issues with this app! It won’t load videos on a regular basis. I have to reconnect my streaming services daily. I appreciate the service, but it does not consistently work.

Love this app and company. Really awesome

Give it up for....?

It is a little glitchy at times, but usually works well. Dallin

Grateful and Hopefilled

When I grew up, our nearest neighbors were Jewish. They were kind and wonderful neighbors. The husband and father of the family was a furrier. He had his own business and when I had the opportunity, I would drop by his shop and watch him make fur coats and hats...and while I was there he would also make small fur coats for my dolls. When I was older he created a fur stole for me to wear to the prom. It was so beautiful and soft and warm......a treasure for a young girl. Watching this show brought back many wonderful memories of the Jewish people and their kindness and generosity to a young child. The Chosen portrays the Story of God’s People and Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who takes away the sin of the world. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. Thank you for bringing the salvation story to the world through the internet and this DVD.

Very disappointing

DontDLthisApp

Was really looking forward to using this to let my kids watch Cobra Kai without profanity, but it doesn’t work. I’ve tried from my phone and my wife’s phone and on both we get an OK box every time we try to stream, and nothing ever happens. We are trying it on our Netflix account. And yes we’ve followed the troubleshooting and deleted the app, logged out , etc. it doesn’t work. This app is busted.

Really good idea, awful software

MBSLC

I like the idea of Vidangel, but the software is just so glitchy. I would say on the Roku app it works about 20% of the time. On a computer it works about 80% of the time. If they can work out the bugs they should be able to retain the small market looking for this filtration service.

Excellent family-friendly service!

Concerned VA parent

VidAngel gives power back to parents and families by giving us control of what we view in our household. The service and app work well on my iPhone and steaming to my AppleTV using “Sent to TV”. Note the native AppleTV did not work. Filters for language, violence, and sexual content give parents fine grain control that allows my kids as young as 6 to view the same movies as my teenager. Excellent service and product! Thank you for staying in business despite the lawsuits from Hollywood! We absolutely love VidAngel and use it every week.

Seems to work better lately

whydoesntthisworkalready

Update.. the app seems bit better for some reason. It still doesn’t remember where the show left off. It does cut out randomly now and again. Otherwise it plays on my Apple TV ok. I love VidAngel. The app just needs a bit of work. This app used to work great with Apple TV. After the update it’s terrible. The ‘send to tv’ button doesn’t work nearly as well as the native Apple stream function. It always restarts the whole show if i exit and come back. There’s no fast forward or rewind controls anymore. It’s not a big deal but the app used to remember my parental pin if I entered it for a particular episode. Now I have to enter it every time if I want to pick an episode where I left off.

Needs lots of work

magsnanna2012

Been on this service about 1 month.....impressions so far 1). Great concept 2). Confused by all the “off the wall” series and movies they select to “filter”. Really, have never heard of most of them? 3). Attempted to watch a movie a few days ago and it just froze in the middle of the viewing and unsuccessful in finishing it.. I check for new content every few days and really, who picks these never heard of movies? Need to up their game on selection..... The jury is still out but hope things improve over the next few months or I’m canceling my subscription.... On a positive note, any contact with them as resulted in polite, prompt email response.

Great idea and service. App has issues.

Why do I need a stupid nickname? lol

Only streams correctly 40% of the time.
