New app update is terrible, change it back

No idea whose idea it was for the My Stuff section of the menu, but it’s terrible and annoying. It was simply better the way it was with everything separated in the main menu drop down. This app is essentially ruined because of this update. I know complaining about this is futile because they never bother reading these reviews let alone act upon them but maybe at least there’s some catharsis in mentioning it. While you’re at it please fix the UI bug where the Carrier, signal bars, time, battery percentage, and everything else in the iOS iPhone status bar appears overlaid on videos when playing back DVR content. It doesn’t seem to occur with On Demand and Live TV. I tried reporting this via the app but it seems broken as well as a progress circle just kept spinning.
Record never works

I’ve had this app for years. I’ve never had a problem watching TV from a remote location. On the flip side, I have never been able to record something using the app. I’ve always had an HD DVR, but recording using the app has never worked. Not once. Never. Fix it and it would be a 5 star review.

Great idea. Sadly, there is usually some glitch, it crashes, or simply freezes. It’s like enjoy it while it lasts because it usually isn’t too long. UNRELIABLE!

Overall I am very dissatisfied with my FiOS TV - FiOS Internet & Digital phone services, but this app (that I utilize on my iPad Air 2) is very functional. I use it primarily relaxing in my backyard or on my front porch - no hiccups at all over nearly 2-years of use & several software updates. Also a handy guide for viewing upcoming tv programming. Used the remote control app on my TV once - just to ensure that it worked. This is the only cable-provider app that I have ever used, so I have nothing to compare it with.

Service: horrible. Reliability: horrible. Customer service: what customer service? Video quality: if you like stop motion and buffering get this app. Update 2/10 now you get about 40 seconds of 240p video before it freezes and never comes back. So you have to change channels and return to force an update. Which then skips you ahead about 5 minutes so you miss everything. It's really amazing watching the olympics. You see the start of a race and then the medal ceremony... The NBC sports app is TEN TIMES better than this piece of trash. I've been watching the olympics on that app for about 15 minutes now and it hasn't buffered once, it hasn't frozen or crashed. How that app has a lower rating than this dumpster fire is beyond me.

I use this every day and fine its functionality, like Verizon’s service, improves almost daily. Verizon obviously is investing in a better app, and it shows. Get it and use it.

I expected more capabilities for viewable stations (watch now) and more item in On Demand. Also, the ability to filter on demand content similar to my settop box would be a great benefit. The commercials hyped-up the capabilities and my expectations, leaving me very disappointed. Keep at it, you might actually catch up with everyone else.

Verizon brags about being the best cable company out here and there service is crappy. And so is the app. It is always crashing on me and saying it can not connect to my network when I am in the house on wifi. Smh

The app keeps me connected and up to date with episodes I would miss because of a busy work schedule. Having WiFi to my iPad I experience no buffering or stops, after learning connectivity controls that I simply got data for my device. The change to mimic the on demand in home service ,are sense to keep things uniform overall pleased for what it provides being a mobile app it’s great quality and at no extra cost $$$$
