Constant issues with sending money

It’s great when it works but when you try the system displays problem with transaction. Ask help center all they can say is it is nothing with what you are doing. Try a different payment method. But no method works. Would be a great product if it worked all the time.

Good app and it’s fun to see friends $ reasons but it’s weird it’s treated like social media as I’ll occasionally get these connection requests from strangers and be like who are you? Go away. But ya easy to pay for things.

I’d just like people to know you can’t stop a payment. They give you some terrible advice if you send money to someone on accident to just ask for it back as if all people happen to be that nice or if you get dogged out of money for something that was promised. I tried to contact customer service because of the stopped payment. They told me I was required to pay the money back to unlock my account even as I told them I stopped the payment for a reason as I was ripped off and wasn’t going to get my money back from that person. Yet the person who ripped me off gets to keep there account open. They claim to take these matters seriously yet I have more consequences and get my account shut down and the other person goes with no repercussions. So if you feel like getting ripped off, use Venmo.
Check cashing failure

Check cashing feature frequently fails. Banks verify accounts and funds but Venmo’s software has issues. No one at Venmo to respond or help.
