I USED to really like this app. I would open it and check the news many times during the day. I'm getting to the point that I HATE this app. I constantly have ads popping up, without me explicitly clicking on them. Almost EVERY video forces me to watch a commercial BEFORE I can view it (and many times, the commercials are longer than the videos!!). I know you need ad revenue, but your user experience is now driving me away from your content. Did you even bother to do usability testing? Pop up ads have got to STOP!!!

Beyond frustrated with the pop up videos showing up while reading. Behave to close them out every single time. I know the app needs revenue, but there has to be a better way! I am considering not using the USA Today app anymore!!!

Horrible ad pop ups/redirects

I've enjoyed this app for many years and believe it's a great source of news, but the ad pop ups and ad redirects are out of control in recent weeks/months, to the point where I'm shopping for an alternative. Simply scrolling through the news feed results in multiple redirects to video ads and outside sites. It's incredibly frustrating. Please fix!

USA Today is a top notch news service and the articles are normally excellent. However this is all lost to the continual ad redirects to websites and video ads that play without even clicking on them. They take away from the whole experience to the point that it's not worth keeping the app on your phone. Without the ad issues, this is a 5 Star app.

The latest versions video ads bring the app down to a state of near uselessness. This was my go to app for USA News when traveling. No longer. I find the BBC APP Offers lag free loading and scrolling. You've ruined a good app USA Today. You may have more ad revenue now but your readership will drop considerably.

It is a site that I use everyday to keep up with the news. All the sections are very easy to navigate and the quality of the material is great!!! Keep up the good work!!!

Tired of pop ups and ads

I used to use this app exclusively for news and sports. I am deleting it. I cannot take the pop ups not the videos. This is a shame. Is there a paid for version where this would not happen?

USA Today now seems to think I want to see an Alfa Romeo ad pop up in my face multiple times as I try to read content. The morons who create this crap achieve one thing only; they drive the customer base to another content provider. I will delete this app. There are plenty of ways to see news. No one needs this crap.
