I am a long time user of the usatoday app. But now that it constantly opens the App Store while trying to read an article and sell me an app or open video advertisements is completely distracting and unacceptable. I will no longer be using the usatoday app on my iPhone.

How am I supposed to read through a news article with a car ad popping up randomly every 10 seconds? How am I supposed to scroll though the different stories without being redirected to another page! This new advertising is aggressive and it's made my enjoyment of this app terrible. I will be deleting this app immediately and using CNET's app.
