Can't take passport pic
Only works in landscape
Supposed to be able to take photo of passport but it doesn't take the pic. So can't check in.
Great full service app! Even better on newer aircraft

I love that I can view my reservations, checkin, add boarding passes to Apple Wallet, view gate information, view airport maps, and search for alternate flights in a pinch right in this full service app. On newer aircraft that support it, you can even stream in-flight movies and TV for free! It works just like Netflix. You can even request an Uber or play sudoku within this app! It has a few UI bugs, especially related to movie playback, or I would have given this app 5 stars. 1. The iOS status bar is always showing when watching movies, which is distracting. 2. There's a bug where tapping to hide the app's top & bottom toolbars during playback seems to hide one and show the other, so one is always obscuring the movie. 3. After viewing a movie, some of the other screens in the app are messed up (e.g. Boarding Passes tab shows half of each boarding pass). Force-quit fixes the problem. There was also a problem where it would not pull up the map of O'Hare airport when I needed it. Wish list: 1. Please consider adding a way to call the United customer service 800 number right from within the app. If it's already there, I couldn't find it. 2. Please consider expanding the alternate flight search feature (for delayed or cancelled flights) to search across carriers or when necessary. (It currently only searches for alternate United flights, which might falsely show no flights available, when a connecting flight is available with another carrier.) Kudos for the notification of delay/cancellation and offering the ability to search for alternate flights from within the app, though! 3. Please automate the process of adding an upcoming flight reservation booked against my Mileage Plus account, so I don't have to type anything. (Currently, I must find and type my Mileage Plus number or the reservation number + my last name to add a flight into the app--but it should already know my Mileage Plus number!) 4. It would be awesome if the app would automatically show my seat number in big letters as soon as my boarding pass is scanned and I am beginning to board. 5. Please consider making a way to allow customers to download a version of the app over in-aircraft wifi for free. Without this, customers must download the app before takeoff or pay for full internet access in-flight to watch in-flight movies!
Watch Complication Never Works

Setting flight status cards for upcoming flight is supposed put a real time flight status on the Apple Watch complication. So far it only displays my total flight miles.

Update v 2.1.10, Aug 17, does not fix the broken landscape mode on iPad. The release notes only said "bug fix" but obviously United Air development team does not know how to fix bugs in apps or bother testing the revised code prior to release. Disgraceful. Let's just hope the pilots that work at United do a better job than the software engineers. And to add insult, I requested iPad landscape mode more than 18 months ago...... Be better if they renamed it "Untied Airlines".

This app is a waste of time and money. Bought some internet time to download the app that never downloaded. In other words, I had an hour of Internet time that was wasted in trying to load this app.

Really like the app. Like having the ability to monitor flights and get updates on status although sometimes a little slow at receiving them but I think that delay comes from whoever is putting the info in. Also like being able to book a flight on my iPad. One thing, PLEASE move the uber link away from the reservations detail button which is VERY small below the BIG uber button. With my big fingers I am always hitting the uber instead of the detail button.
