Cool rendering but as soon as you change the color, all of the original textures disappear. The fact that there’s so few choices for adding to the predrawn artwork only takes away from that. Then, being told that you are required to share it ... I’m sure you’ll get 5 stars from people who don’t know that there’s much better 3d art apps available, so no worries.

Price...whew!

I found umake when I first got my iPad Pro and was elated and happy to rub it in the face of other 3d Modelers I know, Who said no way you could run a 3d Modeling program from an iPad. But the second I saw them add pricing I cringed and said okay, I will go with the lower price. There is no lower price. I said okay I will use the free one. I will just be careful to use it when not home for projects I have to get done under the gun. Then I saw I can only export free in Umake format. I contemplated writing a .py script to convert but in the end said forget it and uninstalled. I am a single mom of a busy teenager who sometimes has to wait in cars for her to be done with whatever practice or event. I was happy because I could be there for her and still work, but man, 9.99 is a bit much. Blender is free and it’s only a matter of time before they slap an app up here too. I am loyal and would rather work with Umake, inability to render, and all. But if I have to pay that much, I can’t do it. I have too many other art subs already that I use a lot more. I don’t need free, I know you guys need to be paid for your work. I support devs getting paid. Just 9.99...whew. Some other tiers would be good. 2.99 for exporting 15 files in .obj or whatever. But this price and can’t even render (also for me personally, cannot import Marvelous Designer files, UV maps, make Shadow maps, nodes, nada) it’s a lot to pay, just to make a shell. I hope you all consider adding different sub tiers. Gladly pay you, just not that much. Ps, I downloaded today to see what you have added, very nice work.

Great Design App

M8's are g8

I love this design app I think you should get it too fair warning if your like me and can’t draw this might not be the best

Money Grab

Fugaze

Nice clear features and tutorials which are massively overshadowed by default crippled Free version and ridiculous subscription model for the paid version. Basically you can design in 3D but you cannot do anything with the design except mail a 2D picture of it to a friend...which defeats the point of developing in 3D in the first place. You must also create an account to store your creations in thier cloud (like that is even remotely as secure and flexible as Apple’s iCloud, or even your IPad’s Filles section!) Basically if you dont pay the exsorbanent susbscription of fee of $10 ongoing (yeah, over and over) you will not have any ability to download in any of the standard 3D file formats like .stl,.obj, etc... Instead they give you the LAME ability to save a .umk file that ONLY their software can read!!! The money grab is palpable here...$10 is high for an app price, but it might have been worth it ONCE, BUT NOT AS A SUBSCRIPTION!!! I would look at Blender on the PC, or Gravity Sketch on iOS....both give you the ability to save in standard 3D formats for FREE. Nothing wrong with trying to make money but $10 for this app is as much as it should cost...with no reoccurring suscription fee BS...and I am being generous in giving it that much of a market value.

Could be easier to use

Octet to cat

Good app but could be more user friendly with a visible axis

You can't ever really own it.

Coqui Unlimited

Not too bad, but a monthly or yearly subscription is a deal breaker. Not ever truly owning the app is a greedy idea. So nope, there are other less expensive.

Not Really a 3D Modeling App

JFR-19

This is just a toy to let you make "canned" models. I see why so many reviewers are confused with how to model, thinking it’s because they don’t have experience with modeling. That’s not the problem. Real modeling apps don’t work like this. This is fine as a kid’s toy and if you’re willing to spend a lot of money for a subscription, but like other reviewers have said, just get Blender for the PC or Mac for free. Blender is easy and awesome; professional grade. Also, the developer’s justification for needing to sign up seems bogus; there are plenty of professional, pay-once apps with good tech support that don’t require sign-up

Amazing Work!

Don’t waste your money

Great8games

The idea of the 3D modeling app was intriguing enough to draw me in, but it’s crap. I have watched YouTube guides and tutorials, played around with the app by myself for months, and I have made no progress in learning the interface or how to actually make something. They make it look so easy in the app description/video, but don’t be fooled. This is a terrible app for beginners like me, and if you have never tried 3D design, this app is not for you.

How do I start a drawing and actually draw? I can only download stuff that’s kind of already made.
