App sends me to google.

ramen is good

I love it, but the app sends me straight to google. I’d rather prefer a developer response. Thanks! Cherro!

Can’t use the pen

makelberg

So I’ve had this app for 1-2 months and I can’t seem to use the pen. It’s really frustrating and when I watch tutorials it doesn’t have a axes (I don’t know if that’s how you spell it) so is just my ipad? Let me know if you can!

Stunning app, but beyond my homeowner skill set

Easy,Man

I see the wonderful things possible with this product, but I am not the target audience. I think I got out over my skis on this one :) I received quick and thorough response from developer when I emailed them. Great company and great product! Thanks!

Program has a ton of bugs

bvandehey

I so wanted to like this program. I spent a couple days learning the program by watching their videos. The videos are ok but are of an older version and some things are different. My main issue with the program is that unless you are doing just simple shapes, the program quickly exposes just a slew of bugs. Try editing points on a curve. Points will magically appear and multiply. Trying to join line segments which should just be a simple combine action is frustratingly difficult to have the change take. And when it does finally takes, it might be lost the next time you go back into edit mode. And the kicker of the program was that’s after spending hours getting my first surface right, I saved the drawing and it disappeared! I have been saving multiple times without a problem but of course after I’m finished, it decides to delete my file. In response to developers comment: I did attempt to use the merge action. It would some times work and some times not. Even when it did work, many times it would revert. As far as the videos, look at any of your videos by Niko (uMake How To: Design a bottle in uMake. The icons that appear on both the right and left menus are different from the version of the program I was using. For example glasses for selecting your view on the tutorial versus a picture of a house in my version. Not a big issue but it did cause come confusion to try and translate what Niko was doing into what I should be doing. The program is so close to being a great iPad 3D modeling program. My design had dozens of points along an oval’ish shape. I manipulated all of those points to match the precision of what I was trying to model. There would be different segments with green ends (where are the colors explained?) Trying to merge and combine to get a single shape was exceedingly frustrating. While my design was more complex than just a simple geometric shapes, I doubt my experience is unique. As far as losing my work, it happened so there is a bug somewhere that needs to be fixed.

I like it...

Córal

I like it, but when I work for 4 hours and it crashes and has none of my drawings saved, not so much. It has crashed on me twice today.
