However! Recently it has not been able to open at all, it crashes when clicked on.

REVISED *uMake Support reached out and asked me to update to the latest iOS. Problem solved, silly of me. Thank you Tracy from uMake!* Old, problem since solved: Loved the app in the past but the current version is unusable. Immediately crashes. Reboots or uninstall/reinstall does not fix.

Edit 4 stars (The developer replied and addressed my concerns): This app is very fun and is great for quickly drawing out 3d models that are in your head. That being said you really do need to look at tutorial videos that are on youtube (In app tutorial lacks audio). I highly suggest the app simply asking your language then having a quick basic tutorial with a list of links to for more tutorials Original Review (3 stars): I like this app but it is just so hard to use and the tutorials could use audio. I really suggest it to be easy to create surfaces.

It's going o take me a minute to wrap my head around this 3D thing. I've downloaded this app 3 times and 3 times scrapped it because I couldn't get it. But each time I absorb a little more and along with the updates I'm finally getting it and it's really a lot of fun!! And powerful too. Lots of tools and soon I'm finding it's only limited by my imagination. Thanks for opening my mind to 3D design in ways other apps could not!

Great app for 3D conceptual design and art direction

It's a great app for everyday conceptual thinking and designing, just in 3D. Using it a lot for art direction and 3d graphic design. It seems that the developer is very responsive and releases many updates. The latest one has support of materials, which is truly amazing!

Per Evi Meyer's request, rightly deserved so, I am writing this review after his team of amazing software wizards fixed my drawing after an unfortunate crash which corrupted the file, within 24 hours of my request! on Sunday! Worry not that it is a bug they will post an update to fix within the next day or so. What an amazing team! As for the software itself, it is just wonderful, else I wouldn't have bothered to put so much hours into it as to requesting a fix. It is easy to use, intuitive to human interface habits, many features and decent learning curve. I would say it is everything you needed for concept design, truly concept design on the go! Very practical for business, particularly the conceptualization part. I think everyone working in a product industry should at least play around with it a bit. It is even fun for pass time, because of how easy it is to use and how gratifying it is to see the visualization of your ideas! Way to go, uMake team!

Good start, not great

I had high hopes but it has bugs. I tried to create a simple 6 leg shelf, 3 front, 3 back with 4 shelves. After drawing one post I wanted to duplicate it to make the other posts. That worked ok. But when I tried to make the shelves in Duplicate mode it would copy over itself and leave a double image. I could not get the Duplicate mode to go away. It was stuck there. It kept duplicating each post on top of another. The very first drawing I did of this took me 45 minutes and I was only able to create 3 posts and one shelf before it crashed and I lost it all. Clean up the bugs and it might be great. I'm going to go look at other 3D drawing apps now. I deleted this one already.
