Navigation needs improvement

The app in general is good. The navigation needs improvement. Please have an update that allows for a landscape mode rather portrait or both. The navigation always seems to take routes that leads through private neighborhoods which usually requires going through various one way street. It’s highly inconvenient for both driver and passengers. I think there should be more navigation options linked directly to the app like Waze or Apple maps . They seem more reliable. Thanks Update Waze has been added as an option .Thanks guys. We appreciate you. Improvement needed Landscape mode is highly need. I only do this on weekends and it’s frustrating when your iPad or iPhone is positioned in landscape mode then the app is stuck in portrait mode. Split mode is another feature that should be allowed since most people uses Apple Music instead of the inbuilt Pandora . It saves time instead of switching screens . Thanks

I'm missing AT LEAST $25 total from my daily earnings yesterday. I had to submit a fare adjustment WITH SCREENSHOTS showing the route I took for EVERY SINGLE RIDE yesterday. But instead of paying me for the miles I've actually driven.. They only paid me for SHORTEST POSSIBLE route (Which isn't the route I took because I use Google maps and I take which ever route is FASTEST no matter how many miles it is). This is very frustrating and unacceptable because if the app was working properly, I would've been paid for every mile I drove instead of whatever Uber felt was shortest route. Also my riders thought my car wasn't even moving towards their pick up Location when in actually I've been waiting outside for them.

They absolutely have no clue what I am saying because the people on the other end don’t understand anything but basic English (if that) and when they finally say they have fixed the problem, nope, they go back on everything they said and deactivated my rental car. Horrific people skills on the other side of the world. It’s like talking to an automated system but worse because at least when an automated system doesn’t understand a word u say, it tells you “I didn’t understand that” and not “I understand, but that’s our policy.” They truly do not care what kind of service you bring them, and they could care less if you can’t pay your bills due to not being able to drive for them on basis of complete stupidity on their behalf. I HATE Uber and their “help”.

Whatever you do don't drive for Uber. All they do is read from a paper and never solve your issues. The reps don't listen to you but they are quick to tell a lie. I used 4 different cards to cash out and I wasn't able to. Wouldn't even do a override for direct deposit. Anytime they have to pay a lot of money out for goals their system shuts down and they refuse to help you get the money you earned.

Constant need for support with very little actual help. Driving for uber for 6 months and I’d not recommend it to anyone. Customer or driver. Uber doesn’t develop the UXI well and it’s obvious they care for nothing of the user experience. Uber is a leech company only concerned with getting their cut and forgetting about the rest. Use Lyft instead.

First of all, if you haven't taken a ride yet make sure you use the coupon "6rrvx" to get $1250 off your rides!! Enter it right before you request a ride. Go to the Payments tab in the app and enter the coupon there. Might as well try it out since it probably won't cost you a thing!! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver's face, phone number, and car make and model. It's amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button!!! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!! Uber is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don't see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. Even if you want to get a black car on the occasional night out, it's still cheaper and more convenient than hiring your own private driver. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn't have to say anything more than a short comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I'm very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!!!!

Disappointed that I accidentally forgot to give my client his drink and didn’t realize it until I was two blocks down the road. I tried to look up his phone number but apparently once you hit “complete trip”, it’s all gone. Now I have a Large coke sitting in my back seat with no idea what to do with it. Thanks Uber!
