Works great once you got it working

I love my UL1s. Once you figure out the kinks and resolve any issues you may come across, it works great and trouble-free. I do have a suggestion for when the Ultraloq UL1 lock mode is set to PASSAGE. I find myself forgetting to set my UL1 back to Normal mode from PASSSAGE mode. Would be great if we can also set a timer for how long the Ultraloq will stay in PASSAGE mode. At the end of the time set by the user, the UL1 will automatically revert back to Normal mode.

Can't log in, Co-workers who can log in say the app takes about a literal minute to find and unlock the unit. Buyer beware. Buy the better product that have apps that actually work.

Application support and technical support is non-existent. This manufacturer needs to establish a support program if they want to remain competitive on this ever growing home automation market. Purchase the product two weeks ago, is mechanically in working order. Smart notifications do not work.

Useless app since last update

Since last u-tec app update 1.6.0 released yesterday, I cant connect via bridge to my lock over the internet, I cant add users fingerprint via bluetooth, it gets stuck in loading so it doesnt register the fingerprint, I’m trying to open a support ticket and it doesn’t let you, the submit button doesn’t work, so now I have a useless $200+ dlls lock

No More Stolen Packages

My wife and I love the U Bolt Pro! I live in a rough section of Washington DC and three of our packages were stolen in the past so I invested in the U Bolt Pro, and it’s paying off. Now Fedex, UPS and USPS have a set day and time, each uses an individual pin code to enter my place and I receive notification they’ve enter. I don’t worry about lost/misplaced keys or being locked out anymore...I leave the house worry free because my lock is set to lock automatically in 20 seconds and the when I get to my place the lock automatically unlock (as if there where maids opening it for me) cool! Hopefully it adds video and two way talks. This lock and app are awesome! Thank you U Bolt Pro

Unreliable and No Support

I’ve been using this app with a UL3 BT lock to manage my vacation rental for over 6 months now. I change user access often. The app and lock have been extremely unreliable for me to change users or check the access log. I normally get a failure to connect to lock message. Sometimes it takes closing the app and retrying a dozen times before it works. Other times it will take a few days before I can manage the lock from my phone. I also get administrator login failure come up at least once a month. The company has claimed many times that their products work perfectly, won’t provide any real technical support, and their personnel are extremely unprofessional from the person answering the phone to James who claims to be the highest up manager one can speak to. Their app, servers, and bridge are unreliable and makes the door hardware a huge waste of money.

We bought this for commercial use. This is a great product in theory. Keyless entry, fingerprint reader, multiple users, logs use, even looks sleek. However, it's not taking commercial use well. Handles are getting wobbly after 5 months. The app is SUPER buggy. The previous app ultraloq just stopped working completely which forced me to get this one.Takes a while to get set up then doesn't connect so I've have to do it all again and still no luck.Very annoying. Customer service is slow at best to respond. I think they had a great idea but have struggled to deliver. I envy those 5 Star reviewer's.. As I can't get this to work out.

I had U-Tec’s previous door lock (the UL1 and Auto-Bolt) which didn’t work so well nor did the app with them. However, I just installed the U-Bolt Pro which is a huge improvement and the app works far better. For example, I can now remotely see if the door is locked or not and can lock or unlock it remotely from the app. The only things they could do to improve it and earn a 5 star rating are: 1. Support Touch/Face ID - any app with a login should support this. 2. When entering information such as a user name or passcode, it’s not immediately obvious what to do next because the keyboard is covering the button at the bottom of the screen. You have to tap on the screen to make the keyboard go away to reveal the button to go to the next step. Instead, the button should be in the view header like the Send button when typing an app review on your iPhone. 3. Make the login faster. It feels like it could be done in half the time.

The logs don’t work correctly

Whenever I use the app to check who has entered and left is not accurate. And there is a log in there from 9/30/2037 abou5 20 years in the future!! Please update the app and fix the logs please and I will change it back to 5 stars!!

Can’t Update

Had the Ultraloq app. It made me update to the U-tec app. Can’t get my locks to register. Can’t manage users on either app. So new users need to be with someone already registered or I need to provide them with a key. If that’s the case what’s the point of these locks.
