U-tec Pro is a nice product! My family register their fingerprint within 10 mins. Most of the time, the unlock on U-tec App works fine, and the temporary code for guest and airbnb use are fine. If you can not get the email verification code, check the junk box!

Very poor remote connectivity

The lock itself is easy to set up new users and delete them as needed. I purchased the bridge but have constant connectivity problems. Communication with support has been poor (slow response time). I was told to delete the app and reinstall the new version. Made sense so I did. No improvement for connectivity issues.

We had our home renovated this summer, the lock is part of the whole project, turned out one of the best improvement. As a mother with 3 kids, 2 are toddlers, getting out and inside the house with all the bag and groceries has been a struggle, now I don’t have to worry about finding my key in my big bag and lock and unlock the door. It gives me notifications through the app in my Apple Watch watch too. I feel safe and convenient. Also with my parents visiting soon, I can just give them the code now instead of getting extra keys. I have recommended it to my friends. It definitely worths every penny.
