True Backgammon HD had already been my favourite backgammon app since its first version. However, retina-display graphics were lacking and online play was not supported. The new version now has both features. Arguably, this is the best backgammon app currently available.
Fun game

I've played a ton of games and really enjoyed this app. Would have given it five stars but the latest update put a second or two delay in the computer player's time which is driving me crazy. Wish I could go back to the last version. Thanks for the game, hope you can speed it up!
Major upgrade - best BG in the store

The Tutor is well worth the investment. The game was enjoyable and reasonably challenging before, although it made goofy moves at times. Now, the moves logic is unrelenting and will provoke you to "up your game." The opportunity to change your mind in the new update will provide even more learning options. BG aficionados are wise to choose this app.
Loaded Dice, Dishonest Representation

Save yourself money and frustration! The developer goes out of the way declaiming random dice. I've played backgammon over 40 years, the rolls totally set up in computer favor! If I ever played anybody that lucky, I'd be sitting face to face with God. Keep looking, this one is the worse!

One side will be capable of Rollins and playing. The opponent rolls, can light up possibilities, but can' t move them. Is there a fix? I have deleted several times, but the same thing happens, Regards, Jackie Murphey This still stinks! J.
Do not buy this game

It is unplayable! I played three games and deleted it. In those three games the computer rolled doubles 14 times to my 1. I would look at the board, notice the roll the computer need to harm me, and it would always get that roll. Fix the AI and you might have a decent game, but until then it is a waste of money.
Game is rigged. So infuriating

I have played well over a thousand games on this app. Great UI and it is wonderful in two player mode. Sadly the idiot developer rigged the Ai. What a moron. The first Ai was too easy to beat. Even with rigged rolls you could game it's doubling strategy. Then he installed what he claims is bgblitz a well know Ai publicly available. At first I thought it was real and just insanely good. Then the rolls just kept coming in weird ways and I started to get suspicious. So I used the feature the developer added where you can create your own rolls using real dice. Suddenly I was crushing the game where before it was beating me at least 30 percent more. I am livid right now. What a idiot the developer is.
