Favors computer

Dice roll seems to favor computer when a combination is required to hit a single open blot

The worst.......

Ibrowgirl

So pathetically rigged from time to time to let either you or the computer win-you may think it’s fair but it’s not. See how magically a dice is thrown for the very space you have 1 chip on-you are never in control.......!

Learning backgammon

I just started playing, so I am not very good. As such, I haven’t developed a solid strategy. On the casual level, I get my butt kicked most of the time. I know folks have criticized the developer and suggested the dice are loaded. It certainly seems that way at times, but I think the issue is really the programming is designed to stick to a solid strategy unwaveringly. If you make a mistake, it seems the computer takes advantage of it the vast majority of times. The computer needs the perfect roll and seems to get it...Its still fun and I will keep trying to get better.

Unfair Dice

Princefan69

I initially bought this game to play against my wife and it was fun and we played for a while and enjoyed it very much. When I started playing the computer I noticed that the computer always made the perfect move. Whenever I had a single chip on the board, the computer always seemed to get the right roll to knock me off the board. I only play my wife now because we are evenly matched.

Computer always gets too many favorable rolls

Going to look for another backgammon game. Computers rolls seem unreasonably favorable.

The best Backgammon game - finally an app with honest dice rolls!

Tutor software

Great game. I bought the BGBlitz to improve my skills. The system says I paid for it. How do I find it? It doesn’t show up somewhere on the game and there’s no new app to open. Thanks. Following you reply, I opened the shopping cart and then the AI button at the top. The middle panel is the one I used to purchase BGBlitz Tutor. That panel says it is installed but it can’t find the app anywhere on my iPad Air. Please assist. Thank you.

Not really random

dogluvrtoo

The developer insists that because you can see the programmed dice rolls ahead of time that the rolls must be random. However, I believe that the AI learns what moves you are likely to make with your rolls, which it knows based on the dice list. It then fills in the computer rolls based on your typical moves. I was playing at the medium level and winning most of the time at first. Then went to expert mode to see how it differed. Won most of the time at first, but now not very often. I believe the AI has me figured out and plans the rolls accordingly. Only true fair way to play is manually.

Too bad

Trquis

The games are pre-determined which is not the same as loaded dice. I’m definitely deleting it

Crappy

Who developed this stupid Backgammon app? This Backgammon app is so stupid and ridiculous it’s pathetic!
