Great, but....

Daddiezgyrl

I really like this app and am impressed by how responsive the devs appear to me but I am baffled by one thing....Why can't I add more to a note once its saved? I cannot find anywhere in the note that gives me the option to start recording again in the same note. Also, its a bit frustrating that everytime I pause it starts a new bubble, almost for every sentence. Nothings as good as the Dragon Naturally Speaking desktop program....if you could match that on Android it would be amazing.

Wow! At last someone did it!

I’ve been waiting for this program, software, program, app for decades! May the creators be blessed BIG TIME for the time and effort put into this! I am so very thankful.

Poor communication

Sklinky

I was charged the $5.00 fee to have my hour of recording transcribed. However, I have yet to receive the full transcription. I’ve been trying to figure out who to contact but the “contact” but says it is unavailable. Very frustrating. I needed this transcript and have no access to it, and I’m also out $5.00 and can’t get in contact.

Waste of $29.99

I tried to have the app transcribe audio of my Dad’s life story including War stories from WW2 & Korea. It took over 12 hours (I let my phone sit all night) Then I had a warning that the text was full of profanity. ??? I looked at the transcription, battalion was transcribed as vagina?! It was a total mess and a waste of my money. So disappointed.

Not free app as led to believe it only for 15 minutes ?

Mediocre transcriptions, hefty price

First of His Name

The transcriptions are largely inaccurate. It is possible that the recording I used it on somehow had too much background sound, but I can’t test it on slightly clearer recordings because the app only allows fifteen minutes of transactions before charging $4.99 per hour.

Okay, but no Dragon

I tried this app on a recommendation from a fellow writer. For the test recording I used a Voice Memo recording done in my car. It missed/skipped entire sections randomly. Thinking it could be the quality of the recording, I paid for one hour and transcribed a dictated piece for my current manuscript. It was recorded using a high-end SpeechWare mic and Voice Record Pro app. Accuracy improved, yes, but my spoken punctuation was not recognized. Only “period” was used accurately. Open quotes, close quotes, and new line were all ignored, adding a lot of editing time to the transcription. Also, dead air resulted in a period, while I was searching for the right word to use. Perhaps this program allows for no spoken punctuation except “period”. I don’t know. I could easily re-train myself on how I dictate, but I couldn’t find any suggestions for use on formatting in the app. For now, I’ll have to stick to the cumbersome Dragon dance (record on one device, upload to Google Drive, download to a PC, run Dragon transcribe (Pro feature), upload transcription to Google Drive again, download to my Mac. All because Dragon has a reduced accuracy on a Mac. Wish this app had worked better for my needs. Would have saved time immensely!

TERRIBLE

This is a terrible app. It didn’t “transcribe” anything from my one-minute voice audio (which by the way, was loud and clear). It only got but one word. I bet all the good comments were bought and are fake.
