Sound Off

amrad97

I love the app actually. I’ve been using it for the past few days, but for some reason today, it’s not producing any sound. Like it’s transcribing the voices and everything, but when i play the video to make sure of the text, there’s no sound that comes off. I checked the sound on my iphone and it’s working fine so the problem is from the app. Any solutions for this? Update: It worked. Thank you! Back to 5 stars ?

Works BUT it does not get the job done

Owen mccafferty

I used this software for the first time it worked OK but not perfect it would change words that didn’t even sound the same to two different things like technologies and Jobs was a common one also it would just skip whole sections of what the voice memo said

Horrible

I used this app to take class notes. I paid for the transcribe and it was ALL WRONG! I had to piece together my notes for the exam. Don’t waste your money.

Cannot transcribe

I have been trying to transcribe but to no avail.

I want a refund

I paid $4.99 for transcription of an audio file. I did not expect perfection, but this was not even close to accurate. I’m sure it’s great for others’ uses, but it didn’t work for me. I have asked for a refund since the product is not useable.

Better than nothing

This isn’t super accurate, but it still takes me less time to go back through and correct a transcription than to do it all myself

Disappointing :(

I purchased ten hours, having been persuaded by many of the positive reviews and the product’s 4.3 average rating that I had found a tool that would save me a ton of time. Well, I just had the app transcribe a 2.5 hour recording, and the results were underwhelming. The app chose the wrong words or missed words so frequently that the transcript is pretty much useless.

Paid $4.99 and half of the transcription was not there

I needed to transcribe audio recorded on my cell phone. I recorded a telephone interview from my notebook telephony call onto my cell. I paid $4.99 to have the 22 minute business interview transcribed. My voice was transcribed, but the interviewee was 20% transcribed! Fortunately, I took notes during the interview! Save the money. Take notes. Use google docs or text messages and speak your notes (after the call). Docs or messages will transcribe your notes for free. That’s what I had to do, after paying for a service that’s not fully ready for the marketplace.

Worthless

From a very clear recording it produced nonsense—I mean *so* bad it was laughable. I eventually had to transcribe the recording myself. Waste of $5.

Translation was total bust....

I was excited about this app, given that voice applications like Siri, Alexa, and Google are already so advanced, and a paid, offline service should be so much better... I was expecting maybe one out of 5-10 words being a miss. The result was a total disaster, with maybe one out of 5 words correct, and barely one of the non-trivial ones. Example translations based on a business text: Deodorant on migration. Can you fart and video making your journey to the cloud. I want to run Krypton sword database. I transcribed 30 minutes, so I had to purchase time for this. The end result is that the transcription is non-salvageable and useless, I lost $5 and an hour of time, I will do this manually.
