15 minutes free are nice Professional and easy Exactly what I need for college transcribing !

It muddled through my first few voice recordings in the free time allowed at the beginning. I had to edit quite a bit, but it wasn’t high quality audio so I wasn’t too upset. I paid the $4.99 for another hour of time. The first time I used the paid service I only got four words transcribed out of 17 minutes. FOUR FREAKING WORDS OF A 17 MINUTE INTERVIEW! It’s been two days of emailing support and never once receiving a return email. I’m highly disappointed.

I am disabled and I’ve been looking for this exact technology for at least two years because I can’t type anymore. A lot of these transcriptions don’t work, but this one does. I’ve probably done 60 hours of transcribing audio memos checks and with with very few exceptions it was Word for Word perfect. And when you didn’t get the word right it was because I was mumbling, or what have you. Plus, I asked them if they could donate some time to me because I have no income, and they were kind enough to gift me some free hours, more than a little bit. Support these guys! Besides, the first 15 minutes free, so you have absolutely nothing to loose.

The transcription was no where close to the content of the tape. The transcription made nonsense and was off completely. Waste of $5

Hey this actually works! It has a decent recognition, even though I wasn't speaking super clearly. Woohoo! Just wish we'd get more than 15 mins free though.

I was super pleased with how quickly the transcription was finished after I uploaded it, there's definitely a few spots where things were muffled and the words were a bit off or sections left out, but overall it's going to save me a ton of time when I'm writing my pieces.

Much needed service, lacking app

This is a bizarre application. The language in the prompts contains grammatical and spelling errors, as though it, itself, were transcribed or written by a non-native English speaker (no offense to non-native English speakers, but I need an app in English). The actual transcriptions have massive gaps, and I've listened to the recordings and followed along with their transcriptions and I see no need for any holes in the end result. It's not as if though the volume on the recording cut out, or the words weren't clear and audible — they were, but for some reason they didn't make it into the transcription. As a journalist, I could very much use a high-quality app like this for transcribing interviews and other recordings. However, if a journalist or court stenographer relied on this app for professional application s/he would upset a lot of people.

Don't waist your money!

This app is the most ridiculous excuse for transcription I've ever witnessed, but often, it can be quite humorous, especially if the speech being transcribed has a little Southern drawl.
