Marvolo.
I called to try and get my confirmation email resent but apparently Trainline does not have a person to call for assistance with European trips. Really frustrating.

Highly unreliable information. The app suggested a journey for which the second train left before the first arrived (not due to a delay - this was the timetabled schedule). Irresponsible of them not to check their code.

Worst experience ever. Purchased. Never sent ticket. Inept customer service. The Worst!

Just bought my first class ticket from Genoa to Florence. Super easy! Takes the mystery out of buying a European train ticket before leaving the US!

This app made my travel in Italy way more difficult. I paid extra for flexibility for my tickets. But trenitalia won’t allow me to change my tickets because I purchased on this app, and there is absolutely no customer service on this app beyond annoying messages that say things like “we are still learning.”

This app made planning my trips around Italy a breeze and even being able to buy the tickets in the app saved me more than a few times with tight connections! Highly recommend!

Europe only has buses theses days, No trains. I checked every city of every country I’ll be traveling and not one train option. The app should be called BUS

I’m very disappointed with their website and not being able to call them unless you’re traveling UK. They charged my bank account twice and I only needed one ticket. Refusing to refund me the money. Because they don’t understand that their website charged me twice and sent me two train tickets. I recommend being careful using this site.

I find it very easy to find and buy tickets, I like that I get alerts, I can sabe the passengers names and information so it saves time. Also it shows the cheapest

I bought a return ticket London/Edinburgh for my family. My wife and I stood all through the outbound journey - 4 1/2 hrs! Surprised to know that we do not have seat. We reported to the train operator (LNER) on arrival at Edinburgh Waverley. They said it’s Trainline and that they have have lots of similar cases. I called Trainline to report the issue/understand why I do not have seat. Then I heard the biggest shock in my life - “my trip was not confirmed and that I should have called to confirm my reservation”. Reservation.. for a paid and confirmed ticket...? There was the repeat of the usual “marketing script” from the the two Indian officers I spoke to. Unfortunately they ran out of ideas as script was obviously inconsistent with my questions. I find it difficult to believe/accept that one has to call to confirm reservation after having booked, chosen a seat and confirmation received. Summary; buyer beware! A very opportunistic platform with a high probability to cheat! Use them again? Absolute NO!
