Must Have for Tourists

Taking a trip back to the UK again at the end of June. This app is a must have for rail tix in the UK. Really really simple to use and quick! Purchased advanced tickets on VT, GW, and XC. All were able to be added to Apple Wallet in one tap after purchase. Learned about the app from All the Stations and decided to give it a try. Couldn't be happier! Thanks y'all!

I booked a train ride in Spain to attend a meeting on a Saturday. After reviewing dates and times I made the payment then an email was sent to me with the wrong departure date!!! Tried correcting the issue minutes after by talking to someone with no success. The train company says that they cannot refund my money. They have no costumer service phone number, email or anything. I love this concept. That said, this company has wasted my money. I booked an eticket for a train from Amsterdam to Brussels through theTrainline.com, 1.5 hours prior to departure. I received 3 booking confirmations & no ticket. I called their help line, only to be informed that the helpline would only work for bookings in the UK. I ended up paying full price at a ticket booth in the station in order to make the train. I do not know where this service failed. Was it because I did not use the app (WiFi too slow to download it)? Was it because it was outside the UK (why even offer?!)? But the end result is that I paid for a ticket that I never received. EDIT: I have amended my review from 1* to 4*. I emailed their customer support, they confirmed that a ticket had never been issued, & issued me a full refund. Thanks Trainline!

I bought tickets using Trainline for my wife, my daughter, and myself to travel within the UK. The online, in-app tickets that we were sold did not have any seat numbers. The other passengers on the train all took their seats, which were reserved by their seat numbers, and we were left with nowhere to sit. I can’t believe that we paid for full price tickets and did not get seats. I might use this app to look up train schedules but I will never purchase tickets with it again.

Due to taxi issues knew I would miss my train an hour before. Trainline app does not show latest availability for comparable trains. Saw availability on French site Oui and rebooked. Looked for help on the app and Your chat bot said it was still learning about European trains! I should get a refund because my ticket was exchangeable but not refundable. I had to rebook on another site because of your site’s inadequacy.

Sleepless in Southern Spain
Every time I reached the confirmation page for my booking, the app crashed. Every single time. The website was even worse, crashing at each step in the process. Finally I just gave up without train tickets for our European vacation. We simply flew to Amsterdam and stayed the whole time instead of traveling around as planned.

Booked 2 one way tickets from Paris to Amboise for me and for my husband, but both passengers are listed as me. Is that because I used my credit card? Cannot go in to revise passenger names.
