No warnings on canceled trains, refunding impossible through the app

Philslade

As pointed out above. You need to email via the website and get a rep to handle it.

Needs some fixes

Theragingrobin

The new app needs to add the year onto the date in the ticket section and separate current and past tickets. Also the calendar would be easier to use if you could see the entire month when you are searching. The old app had these options.

Good but.......

MahiSingh

I liked their old app better than this one. The new app shows upcoming and past bookings on the same page. There is no differentiation between upcoming and past bookings.

Unreliable search results

CanyonMan22

Before my Europe trip I downloaded this app to my phone and my ipad. When I search for train connections between the same cities on the same dates, the ipad version lists several options...and the phone version says no trains available! I know I won’t be relying on this buggy app for my travel.

NOT secure

Lafemmeartist

I am currently using both apps- Trainline and Trainline EU- Twice in two months, my app has been skimmed for one-way tickets, Each time to Paris and to London. I do NOT store my payment info on either app, but I do keep the account signed-in. I have alerted my bank, and now I am alerting you, the programmers! This is so very uncool! Fix it!

Needs lots of support

Gilmouresque

I regret using this application to purchase train tickets for 10 people to travel Europe. It’s okay for finding schedules, but I’ve had nothing but trouble doing the actual purchases. It shows purchase, then cancels and says I’ll receive a refund, but my credit cards show $2400 in purchased tickets for what should be $750. Frustrated that to resolve you can only send an email, no support phone numbers.

Lack of Accountability

The app malfunctioned and double-charged me for my ticket. When I tried to have the problem resolved, I was told that nothing could be done, as I was no longer eligible for a refund. Either decide between improving your app so that it doesn’t make errors when charging customers, or have some sort of system in place to address problems like double-charging.

More Options

Travelmoments

Today I downloaded the app in hopes of finding an easier way to change a train ticket. The app still indicates that one must contact customer service to make changes, WHAT?? If a ticket is exchangeable for free and there is limited time to email customer service and wait for an answer, makes the app worthless to me. Unless I get in a bind I won’t use this company again. Will delete the app too.

Useless

Black Adder1

This app is about as much good as their website. First I tried to book a ticket online and have it delivered electronically but this is not an option. The options are delivered by mail or pick up at a ticket machine. After I booked the tickets I find out you can’t pick up your tickets at Heathrow Airport because there’s no ticket machines there! You have to go to the rail station to pick up your tickets and then go to the underground. In frustration I downloaded this app in the hopes of transferring my ticket to my apple wallet. This is not an option. All I wanted was a ticket emailed to me so I wouldn’t have to walk around Heathrow trying to find my tickets after a 12 hour flight.

Where is the "Add to Apple Wallet" option?

kwyxz

This is a fine app to buy tickets but the previous versions allowed adding tickets to Apple Wallet. It seems to have disappeared with the new version and that is a huge letdown. Please bring this feature back.
